WWE reboot

Have one 3 man commentary team, there isn't enough talent for more.
Get some bigger names to do tv part time deals (where they just show up for Mon/Tues and don't have to travel for shows no one will see).
Promote a big event, make the end of the show a big deal. WCW did it.
Play up for nostalgia. Do ECW/WCW themed shows. You have the license, we don't need Extreme Rules.
Promote a large class of talent as the best, rather than rely on one individual.
Endless world title runs have become ridiculous, need some parity and twists.
Everyone needs to strive to be champ, make the undercard feuds a path.
Go with a hot young talent, if you fail you can try again.

For starters have half the roster shave off their beards. Second would be fire whoever is responsible for all those awful camera cuts and "effects" (don't know if it's still Kevin Dunn).

1. 6 month storyline for the main event and mid card wrestlers.
2. Wrestlers are now ranked. This will determine who will fight for the title. Jobbers also get to win against another jobber or local competitor if they fell out of the top ten.
3. Matches are shortened so there will be more matches in the show.
4. Moves are used sparingly. If you get hit with a finisher you will lose. No more near-fall then a comeback unless it is part of a main event storyline and it will be used only on rare special occasion like important PPVs.
5. Referees have more authority. There will be more clean matches so audience will understand and remember the rules. That way there will be more impact if a wrestler breaks the rule.
