Your thoughts on Afro Samurai

I was bored an disinterested with it. Then again, it came out when I pretty much stopped watching newer animation and didn't give it a fair shot.

Mediocre at best. There are a lot better samurai shonen anime. Samurai Champloo is of course one of my favorites. 2019 remake of Blade of the Immortal is underrated IMO. Also if you have the time and don't get bored of the first 50ish episodes I recommend Gintama. Even though technically it's a comedy/parody show, when it gets serious it's such a masterpiece.

I enjoyed it, samurai champloo, rurouni kenshin, and my favorite ninja scroll were more enjoyable imo
