ZMA Plus Multivitamin...Too much?

So I recently started taking ZMA, in addition to a GNC multivitamin, and a very healthy diet. What are the chances I'm overdoing it on one or both of Zinc/Magnesium..?
I did notice a bit of diarrhea, but i'm waiting to see if that goes away as i get used to the increase with the ZMA.
 
Why are you taking ZMA in the first place?
 
I'd be more concerned with too much zinc and not enough copper. As a generalization most people are not getting enough Magnesium in their diet. Look at what amount of both are in each, add them up and then estimate what you get from diet amd compare to RDA, or get blood work and ask for specific measures.
 
The short answer is no.
 
I take ZMA for improvements in sleep. I sleep like shit. Small doses of melatonin help as well. ZMA seems to help morning wood, not sure if there's any real benefit there, I guess you could deduce there's some kind of hormonal stimulus taking place, or not. I don't know, not a doctor.
 
zma before bed and multivitamin in the morning. that should work fine
