How much of a hand in promotion does zuffa have in this fight? Ive been avoiding this whole thing as much as possible but a friend said a few months back he thought it would be a great play for the Frettitas to sell the UFC then take the biggest star and make a tonne of money in a BS boxing fight agaisnt floyd.

Is there any public stats on who is putting in the money and organising here?

Boxings almost dead. This is the most promotion the sport has gotten in years. Once conor leaves... theres nothing. MMA is the new guard

Seems like they are shifting to boxing or at least thinking of it.

The MMA chapter doesn't look to be where its at with all the fighters jumping ship to Bellator because of terrible pay

Regardless of what happens in this fight Boxing has long been decaying. This fight will hurt boxing more than anything in the long run.

Without Conor, Floyd would have been long gone. His last PPV did well under 500k.

It's not even that there are not good fighters/matchups available it's just the entire structure of boxing is fucked up beyond repair. Highly doubt the Ferrtias or WME/UFC would want anything to do with it after this
