How does being an old rule not make it a shitty one? You still can't kiss your wife in public on Sunday in Delaware.

Everyone advocating the verbal tap must concede that Weidman is not undefeated.
Its not a shitty rule , if you have ever grappled you would know it. Sometimes you can't tap. So if you cant tap and it hurts so bad you scream in pain the ref should just sit back and let the other guy break your bones?

They're both expressions of pain. Clearly they're not the same thing, I'm not saying they are. Just that they represent the same feeling, pain, and that neither are sufficient reasons to end a fight. You're supposed to be in pain in a fight. Getting hit so hard you fall on your back hurts, too, but when they end a fight as soon as that happens most of the time we cry about an early stoppage.
