The key thing with Irving is that he is really really terrible on defense. There were so many mental defensive lapses in this series the peopl arent killing him for because he scores so much . He is giving up lay ups and open dunks after made shots.

Cause people like his version of the shake and bake and yeah he finishes great at the rim , it's all one on one , Curry is more efficient, and he knows how to create offense for his teammates. Curry in this series was clearly the 3rd best player on the court over Kyrie and it made a big difference.
