That's ridiculous and it diminishes you to say it.That is a weak argument. We know which party houses the KKK now

What republican ideals do you not agree with? That's fine but although I lean left I'm an independent. I don't fully agree with Dems on most issues and I certainly don't with with Republicans on anything.
Maybe you are. I'm not. I'm talking about Politics. There is more to the office than the man in the Oval. It's about policies and the plan for our Country. What about his policies do you disagree with? What is the better way under the Democrratic plan?

"Not all Trump supporters are idiots..."Lol!!! Sure, everyone that votes for Trump is unintelligent. Though I agree there are a lot of idiots that voted for him, to just assume all that did are unintelligent is literally you just creating a fabricated boogeyman so that way you can justify your bigotry and retardation. There's a reason why Democrats have gotten their shit kicked in the last few years in elections. You're post is a terrific example.
Not a big deal. Judging by your post here and your past posts I can tell you don't have many friends anyways. Beggers can't be choosers.

The national GOP as an institution is devoted primarily (if not exclusively) to upward redistribution of wealth. You can't understand politics in America without grasping that. It explains why they have no real governing plan (their "healthcare" plan, for example, was to cut taxes on millionaire investors and pay for it with Medicaid cuts) and why they fail at basic functions like staffing, handling disasters, maintaining infrastructure, inconsistency on deficits (it's an apocalyptic concern when there's new proposed spending and no big deal when there are much larger upper-class tax cuts on the line), etc. People aren't studying policy impacts and figuring out ways to improve the country. It's pure Randian-type ideology combined with cynical appeals to religious rubes and racial resentment to broaden the support base.
Democrats are a normal center-left party. There's no single unifying vision because it's a coalition of people with different concerns. Ultimately, Clinton's pitch was, "unlike the other guy, I'm smart and experienced, and I'll have other smart, experienced specialists helping me come up with good solutions to whatever might come up." Not inspiring, but true, and the path to improvement in the real world. The closest thing to a general theme would be "broadly shared prosperity," and the mission there is stronger economic growth that is divided more equally than recent growth has been. The environment might be the most important issue, though, but the Democratic answer is just "We're not crazy nutters. We know it's a real problem, and we have some ideas that should help."
voter suppression, religious ideology, women's rights, rampant capitalism (more corporatism), anti-science, anti environmental protection, energy policies, climate change, tax policy, terror exaggeration and on and on
Less words would be better. That looks like something you copied and pasted.
None of what you state in the top paragraph is even remotely true. Those are just liberal talking points. As for the second paragraph? Where's the substance? You said a whole lot of nothing. Tell me these "better" ideas that the Dems have? Let me ask you this: Do You really want open borders? Do you really want Sanctuary Cities? Do you really want Higher Taxes? Do you really TRUST the idiots in the Government to run our Health Care system? Do you prefer big Government over State's Rights?
Speaking of copied and pasted. You made almost this exact post word for word in another thread, and I answered. And your inability to engage intelligently with disagreement is noted. Welcome to the WR.
I'm going to guess that your answer to the OP's question is "no." The next question would be if you have any friends on the same side of the aisle.

That's a great point. We'll be much better off as a country if we can discuss political differences in a civil, productive way. Tribalism is detrimental to all of our goals.Yes I do , I like a lively discussion, what the he'll is wrong with people , not wanting to or not being able to discuss politics is somewhat dangerous imo
Won't that only lead to a worsening of the divide
Pot meet Kettle.
Meh, doesn't even sound like you're reading the posts you're responding to. Good luck.
I don't want to see govt run healthcare.I'm in support of a public option not full socialized medicine. I'm fortunate to be able to have very good insurance and I don't want it messed with. I would like to see poorer people like @ripskater be able to have a public option that may not be a Cadillac plan but something in case his family suffers a catastrophic injury or illness. NOBODY should go broke because they get sick or hurt. I'm also for paying a little extra in taxes so that my neighbor can have insurance. (I'm not sure my christian friend @ripskater would do the same)
