so that just happened. Donald Trump always enjoyed massive support from uneducated, low-information white people. As Bloomberg Politics reported back in August, Hillary Clinton was enjoying a giant 25 percentage-point lead among college-educated voters going into the election. (Whether that trend held up remains to be seen.) In contrast, in the 2012 election, college-educated voters just barely favored Barack Obama over Mitt Romney. Last night we saw something historic: the dance of the dunces. Never have educated voters so uniformly rejected a candidate. Bernie Sanders is aiming to abolish privatized prisons, make healthcare and higher education available to everyone, ending the war on drugs, taking care of the environment, raising minimum wage, shrinking the ever increasing wage gap by building the lower and middle class, and most importantly he wants to remove the corporate influence in the government. I couldn't ask for anything more, really.

Bernie Sanders is a full on socialist. If Bernie was your perfect candidate and you "couldn't ask for anything more" out of a candidate like Bernie, you are well entrenched on the left.

Fair enough. I saw him a positive figure in the government, I don't agree with everything about him, especially with the way he's acted since the primaries, but I saw him as a necessary counter to balance out the current government. I want special interests to be removed so the power goes back to the people, and I want private prisons abolished. I will absolutely accept that I want universal education and healthcare, but that doesn't mean I'm universally to the left. Which has been my point from the beginning.
