Can you look yourself in the mirror and say you gave trump a chance?

I want to see SJW's reactions to another Trump term.

It will be biblical.

Does anyone really owe him a chance? I'm questioning the premise.

I think he's doing a lot worse than his fans claim and a lot better than his implacable critics are claiming.

I do, after the election I got kinda surprised by the outcome, but looking into introspective I said fuck it! Let's see what's he's capable of, and I went with very low expectations. He actually did it! Went lower down the shitter. Muslim ban to start of, just forgot to add Saudi Arabia, arms deal, Russia ties. Long list! More recent net neutrality who you idiots are going to suffer through, I guess it's easier to call Snowden a traitor and have all your Info handed to big companies.
So how about you, how much time did it took to lose your faith on the Don?
That “Muslim ban” contained less than 10 countries, when in fact, there are roughly 40 predominantly Muslim countries in the world. Saudi Arabia was left off the list because Saudis have never really flooded the U.S., as opposed to the other countries who’ve been seeking asylum in the U.S. at high rates throughout the past decade.

Oh, and that list was created by the Obama Administration, if I’m not mistaken.

the fact he never said _how_ he would implement his outrageous ideas from the very beginning told me he was full of shit.

it sadens me it took this long for people to wake up.

its sad even more his supporters will make excuses for him and not hold him accountable.

in would rather see a healthier administration (democrat or republican) next time than a stupid circus.

POTUS is one of the most important jobs and it currently looks amaturish.

its not supposed to be "entertaining".

He doesn't "get a chance." His executive decisions and public statements are scrutinized.

All I care about it that he ends the Obamacare penalty, lowers my taxes & secures our borders. He's making progress on all of that. So far so good

Didn't vote for the man, but said "hell it's what the electoral wanted so let's see what he can do..

I retired after the first press conference...

SAD.

I came into his presidency with low expectations. It is as I expected it to be.

I knew I wouldn’t agree with his domestic policies. But I though hey atleast he’s a non-interventionist and will put a stop to the countries warmongering ways.

I expected very little and still am dissapoint

The truth is that I believed that due to the red state/ blue state trends of the last thirty years that no Repub could beat any Dem with the possible exception that America woke up and realized that Bernie was a SOCIALIST. I didn't think that any Repub could flip PA, MI, WI. I was pleasantly surprised that the return of the Clinton dynasty was delayed four more years.

I did...and still do so.

Unfortunately many Americans love their political party more than this country...

To be fair...many libs, leftists are engaging in the same behavior many repubs and conservatives did with Obama...

Never giving the man a chance

When you look at it from a more broad perspective, the president dosent have a lot of control in a system that is controlled on both sides.

I can honestly say that I gave him a chance and I'm not impressed with his leadership thus far.

I agree with @spin_ I don't give them a chance. I judge them on what they're doing at the time. If policy looks dumb today, it's dumb no matter who presents it or how experienced they are or are not.

POTUS isn't like some entry level sales clerk job where we give them chance after chance. You take the job because you expect to judged on your production from Day 1. If you want to test drive the office, be Vice President.

That said, it the policy is good then I'll support it no matter who presents it.

I am still giving him a chance, which is why it's so disappointing (though not surprising) when he does new dumb shit.

Are you aware it's his own party obstructing his legislation? Unlike what was happening with Obama?

Every morning when I look in the mirror I thank fucking Christ that hillary isn't president.

American government has too much power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, so why are we giving the government 50% of our money to then tell us how to live our lives?

Government needs to be smaller, more transparent, and working in the interests of the people.

But of course America already had the chance to elect Ron Paul and failed miserably. I don't see America getting any smarter with it's choices so this is just life as an American now.

As far as Trump goes, he's been average.
He did elect a good supreme court justice, cut illegal immigration down drastically, approving the keystone pipeline, getting out of the Paris accord, and some rollbacks of dumb business regulations.
As far as bad things go, Saudi Arabia weapons deal, no wall (although it is only 1 year into his presidency), failed healthcare reform, too much media trolling, says half-truths or lies about the most insignificant things, etc.

But you shouldn't kid yourselves. Most people made up their mind on Trump long before he ever even began running for president. Just look at some of the reactions from the left to Trump running for president.
