yea need to give some of them a break. focus on a few guys at a time. This would lower injuries and give guys a chance to cool down from burning out. Roman should’ve taken a sabbatical after WM but the company isn’t interested running this way. This is why they job out talent in meaningless matches on weekly TV without any direction. shows Austin was right to walk out on that Brock match years ago.
If the sheets are correct, I think big Cass has proven Steve Austin wrong in that these boys need to take more risks on camera To get their characters over.

"The Guy" has always been the top babyface pushed by the company. Brock is not a babyface but Roman has been since the beginning of his singles push 4 years ago. SummerSlam 2014 is the day that Super Cena died when Brock beat his ass in a surprising flawless victory. Summerslam 2014 is also the night when Roman won his first major match as a singles babyface when he beat Randy Orton.

This isn't a list of guys in order of who I think should be top guy instead.. This is a random list of babyfaces or potential babyfaces who fans are or were behind at some point but the WWE said, "Naw we prefer you to get behind our chosen one instead." He was basically floundering around for exactly a year as a singles babyface with no feuds, storylines, character, nothing UNTIL they decides to bring the Shield back together. And what was the reason for bringing the Shield back? It was to help Roman once again to get over in hopes that he would be ready for Mania. This did nothing at all for Rollins or Dean, it was all meant for Roman. You can bring up the tag title's he had with Dean and Jordan during that time but they faced The Bar that whole time for months EVERY single week with barely any reason to care. Why? Because the focus was on Roman, not Dean and Seth.
But hi, because Rollins has Roman's number, none of that matters I guess... Sure buddy.

Dean pinned Roman for the title as punishment for the failed drug test. Dean went on to face babyface loser Ziggler in the most underwhelming title feud of the year. He then had a great feud with Heel AJ which he lost the title to and then has been floundering since.
Cesaro and Ziggler are two other guys who are just there. Titles or not, they have nothing going on for them, it's always the same old shit. No reason to care but the fans have wanted to.
Notice how I keep saying floundering? That's exactly what most of these guys have been doing. Roman though always has something going on, this is the difference maker you need to understand. The company wants you to get behind him but don't give a shit about the other guys.
Nope never said he should be an enhancement talent. He's failed not just as the top babyface but a babyface in general. Cena no matter how hated he was still succeeded in getting "let's go Cena" chants everywhere he went. No matter how loud the "Cena sucks" chants were, we always heard his fans. Roman has not managed to do this, only on a blue moon. It's been 4 fucking years of trying.. And you think he needs even more big wins to achieve that? Nobody else needs all that but sonehow Roman does and it still don't be enough... Thisis why he's failed as a babyface.
Now when it comes to who should be The Guy? Nobody.. That shit gets old quick these days. People want to be suprised, not accustomed to having that one Superman to cheer for each week and constantly go after the title. That old school mentality is dead. This is why you focus on multiple guys near the top and keep them as strong as possible. But instead we get one man who can survive 5 F5's while nobody else can take even one...

The point is nobody else needs that baby coddling that Roman has been getting from day 1. This is why he's a dud. He'll be a great heel, maybe one of the best of all time but as a babyface, as the top guy, he's failed.
