I listen to a lot of bad music. I’m not even embarrassed about it I just know it’s bad lol but I have so much fun singing along.

Fallout boy, my chemical romance, avenged sevenfold, evanescence, Kesha, papa roach, Marilyn Manson, rob zombie, etc. Last night I was even listening to Jeffree Star’s music. I like all these days passed #edgy teen music.
 
I don't know if it counts as a guilty pleasure, but I sometimes listen to Yorkshire Imperial Band which is like a brass band/marching band kind of music. They have some covers of classics which is very dope to listen to at the end of a night out when you just want to go to bed and cry
 
The (Julia Roberts) movie Notting Hill and a car sing-a-long with the Irene Cara song Fame :(
 
Supergirl is one of my favourite movies and the theme song makes me cry.
 
My closer friends know, but there's many that would possibly be shocked: I'm a huge fan of extreme music. It's gotten to the point where I know so much that I enjoy listening to new stuff just to try to pick the influences and analyse the nuances.

What sort of extreme music? I love my extreme metal, a lot of people I know wouldn't have a clue but my close mates do like yourself.

I've been through periods of obsessing over a number of different sub-genres (black, death, old school Florida scene, Gothenburg melodeath scene, industrial etc).

My most enduring interest is in melodeath, Omnium Gatherum are possibly my favorite band of all time, if not Dark Tranquillity.

Omnium seem to be a band that even metalheads find strange.

They're awesome.

I had Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, etc on regular rotation at work before. During the 2:00 pm slump in the office, I would occasionally play Carpenters or Air Supply to break the monotony and for some reason they prevent me from falling asleep. Until one day I realized music was leaking through my headphone all along and everyone from 12 ft radius was looking at me weird while listening to "Making love out of nothing at all".
