Interesting. So, being a white guy name staring O'..., I should expect a DNA test to come back as.... anything... you know, mostly Chinese and African dissent is just as likely as English and Irish.

I actually think she should avoid doing this. I don't think people want to hear this nonsense during a political campaign. She did what I thought she should have done long ago and now she's shut down any argument as far as her ancestry goes. Be the bigger person here and beat Trump by being an adult not dropping down to childish "racist" talk. Plus they already tried that and he still won people don't care about that. Unless your running around screaming the N word at every black person you meet people don't care.

1/32 AT BEST according to this test. Almost certainly closer to 1/512. The point is that her claim is a joke. Even the most liberal tribe standards are provable 1/16th to that tribe. She committed fraud in the past by claiming to be Native American when applying for jobs and academic admissions.

Correction: She's possibly 1/1024.

One relative with some NA/South American ancestry 6-10 generations ago. Wow. I honestly don't know how many Americans today are not going to be at least "possibly" be 0.1%.

Given that you've personally made ugly attacks on her character that were based in part on a premise that was just proved false (in addition to other false premises), I'd think it would be more appropriate to apologize than to engage in that kind of hackery. But I guess some of us just hold ourselves to higher moral standards than others.

BTW, I guess Trump owes her a million dollars now? Surely he'd never refuse to make a payment that he'd previously promised.

If the best she could do was find a genealogist to say she's possibly 0.1% indigenous ancestry, then criticism of her claims has been understated. Having possibly one ancestor from 6-10 generations ago be indigenous to North or South America is not being of Native American descent.

Sadly, this is true. I can't recall who, but a group tried tests from several different companies on the same individuals and got quite different results.

I think the debate was more between people who saw no reason to doubt that she was actually told that she had a distant NA relative and people who thought that she just made that up for some reason (or people who invented reasons why she would have made it up). Now that we know that what she was told is true, it seems much more likely that she was told it.
