Thats true. Cruise has 0 financial interest in taking this fight.
The only chance would be him being interested in doing it for some kind of other personal reason.
Which i dont expect there would be one, so I dont think he would take this fight anyway.
But it leaves the door kinda open.... What if someone else, another huge celeb comes out and calls out justin bieber, saying they want to step up and replace tom? A proper opponent this time... Not someone in their 60s.
I mean... is this just about Tom Cruise?

Random story regarding Dana's comment about being over 50: I remember when my dad at 50 got into an argument with two Albanian guys, who were maybe around 40 ... They were yelling at each other in the floor, my dad got into their face, and all of a sudden one of the Albanian guys throws a right hand at my father's jaw ... the other Albanian follows up with another shot, and my father fires back, but it's two on one and he's up against the wall ... In this moment all of his experience as an amateur boxer and bouncer when he was young helped him a great deal. He didn't go down once.
A few minutes later a neighbor who lived one floor above, around 6'2 and well built, comes in to help. He wanted to check what was going on after hearing all the noise ... at that moment one of the Albanians was bent over and holding his stomach for whatever reason, maybe my dad had kicked him in the privates, I don't know... but as he's bent over, the neighbor who came in to help my dad, smacks him with a punch from 12 to 6 like a butcher, and from here on it was over. The Albanians got their ass kicked, and got thrown out along their wifes + children by the landlord, LOL.

One is an elite athlete competing against other elite athletes.
The other one is famous for beating up guys named Chico and Big D on a parking lot.
Letting amateurs like Kimbo fight in the UFC is fine with me as long as they never claim to be a professional sports organization again.

Is the UFC really considering moving into celeb death matches territory now?
Look at it this way, if Bieber and Cruise agreed to face off in basketball, football or baseball, YOU KNOW Adam Silver, Roger Goodell, and Rob Manfred would do the same thing. Because Dana White is a professional just like those guys and the UFC is as successful (maybe more) as those sports.
