CB Dollaway suspended by USADA (Anastrozole, GHRP-2, GHRP-6, Clomiphene, IV Use)

CB Dollaway upped his Ped game lately. Well he was always average.
JJ upped his Ped game a decade ago, that's why he's goat(cheater)

This changes everything for the Middleweight division

Well, if you are gonna dope, may as well go the whole hog

USADA announced today that CB Dollaway of Gilbert, Ariz., has accepted a two-year sanction for a violation of the UFC® Anti-Doping Policy after testing positive for multiple prohibited substances and using a prohibited method.

Dollaway, 35, tested positive for anastrozole, growth hormone releasing peptide 2 (GHRP-2 or pralmorelin), a metabolite of GHRP-2, and GHRP-6 as the result of an out-of-competition urine sample he provided on December 19, 2018. Anastrozole is a Specified Substance in the class of Hormone and Metabolic Modulators, while GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 are Specified Substances in the class of Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics. All of these substances are prohibited at all times under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, which has adopted the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.

Dollaway also tested positive for clomiphene in an out-of-competition urine sample collected on February 9, 2019. Clomiphene is a Specified Substance in the category of Hormone and Metabolic Modulators and is prohibited at all times under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy.

Additionally, Dollaway received an over-the-limit intravenous (IV) infusion on December 13, 2018. IV infusions and/or injections of more than 100 mL per 12-hour period are prohibited, except for those legitimately received in the course of hospital treatments, surgical procedures, or clinical diagnostic investigations.

Dollaway’s two positive tests and use of an over-the-limit IV were treated as a single, first violation because, after a thorough investigation, it was determined that the positive tests were consistent with ingestion prior to January 11, 2019, the date he received notification of his first positive test. Dollaway’s two-year period of ineligibility began on December 13, 2018

Sure.... you “unknowingly”,took PEDs

What do you mean though? Roids alone? No they won't make you great. If you train hard and work out hard though, you are going to be a better fighter with them than you would be without them.

Of course but it doesnt take average fighters and make them elite.

Guys like TJ aren't elite because he used roids. Of course it helped (mainly in training/recovery tbh) but its not WHY TJ was elite.

Those lower level guys only have access to the pleb drugs now

The playing field definitely isn't fair

Only the highest level guys who have money can afford the best drugs
This is very true and a good point. Designer steroids with variable metabolites, analogues, and synthetic peptides can be impossible to detect if there is no known markers for them. They can only find what they know they are looking for, or any strange changes in biological passports.

Problem is you have to have that Anderson Silva money (playboy) to be able to afford it. (Thousands of $$ per cycle)

While I agree with that point of view (seems pretty possible), I think they all keep doing stuff they can be framed for.

USADA only picks someone from time to time to show some work/be respected, usually to send a message: If Silva got caught, if Jones got caught, and most certainly if GSP was fighting/got caught back in there, who could be safe?

They can't ban everybody who's on something, they would have to suspend the whole UFC roster, then everybody would switch to the expensive stuff and in the end USADA would be hindered itself useless.

It's incredible how simple the issue is, yet people still say PED's don't make a difference.
A fighter who knowingly (so probably the vast majority, if not all who do it) takes PED's ,fights people who don't, then they're cheating. There's no excuse for that.

..and before people say "they all do it, so the playing field is most likely even" is it though? So everyone takes the exact same sort of PED? LMAO.
MMA should only be about who's the better fighter, not about who's also the more clever PED-abuser.
F*ck this shit really.

nah, Adam Hunter

The same Adam Hunter who hung around MMA fighters and convinced them they were funny even though they weren't, just so he could join the MMA fighter club house?

no

You can't say that "I didn't knowingly take PEDs" and list a medical procedure as the reason why PEDs got into your system. LOL

Medical procedures cannot be performed without informed consent, which involves telling you exactly how the procedure will be done, what drugs will be given, and what are the potential risks and benefits of all these procedures and drugs.

At that point, you can take this information to USADA and argue for a Treatment Exemption consideration. This is partly why I don't take fans who use the "if PEDs don't work, then why do fighters risk everything to take them" argument.

This argument implies most fighters who take PEDs are the most reasonable people on Earth, and they cannot make stupid and desperate decisions.

It is almost like asking "if heroin is so bad, then why do addicts risk everything to get a hold of it." or "if prayer doesn't work, then why do so many people pray when they are sick." LOL
