Forget Khabib/GSP or Khabib/Conor 2, Conor/GSP is the fight to make!

Conor cash money McGregor is likely going to win vs Dustin next weekend. What is the next logical fight for him if Khabib won't grant the rematch? The answer is simple. GSP at 165 or WW! This fight would make the most money for the UFC and the fighters involved. This event would leave the MMA world salivating and the casual fan would definitely want to tune in for the first time two, 2 division champs fought each other. The overall fan base of the sport would jump and help resurrect a depressing 2020-2021 MMA campaign.GSP is nearly 40 and although he would be favoured Conor would have a punchers chance to get the finish. Win or lose for Conor, his legacy at FW and LW is protected. I believe this is a fight that GSP would definitely accept. Maybe, just maybe, Khabib is enticed to fight the winner?

Would you pay to watch this?

I'd stream it for free, that's about it. Unless age has really caught up with him GSP would do his usual routine and beat Conor comfortably. Make him cut to 155 and it would be interesting.

George “Dull” St Pierre has hardly ever delivered an entertaining fight. At this stage he isn’t the best in the world anymore as he is aging and a bit over the hill, and with his low entertainment value, he isn’t worth bringing back.

Says a lot about GSP's entertainment value when he regularly drew 500k plus buys despite having what most deem as a "boring" style.

But 490,000 of those buyers were only interested in the other fights on the card which used to be quite good. The remaining 10,000 were desperate Canadians longing for a hero (something which they are not used to).

Says a lot when even an over the hill GSP would spank Conor.

Certainly not GSP if you're looking for a logical fight.
what else would make the most money or have higher entertainment value, logically, this is what the UFC's main purpose is. Money and Sports Entertainment

lol

GSP is old and gets beat regularly by my friends who travel to pick up knowledge at Tristar.

Because GSP wasn't popular in the US. Only children have heroes. Granted, some people remain infants their entire life.

Canada doesn't have Gretzky? Nobody has dominated his sport like Gretzky did.

Conor doesn't have a chance in that fight.

Gretzky is old news and he is probably 70 years old now. That’s why Canadians where clinging to a GSP ruling his weight class in what was then an unknown fringe sport with an exceptionally small talent pool. That is desperation at its finest.

Must be painful to know that one of the GOATS would only come back for Khabib and hasn't the time of day for Conrad, he deems it below him.

GSP won’t accept this fight. Conor’s damaged goods.

Unless he wins the LW title & GSP fights for it this fight doesn’t add enough to his “ legacy”
