It's a lot easier to finish your opponent when you completely ignore the back of the head rule and the ref doesn't penalise you at all for it. Wouldn't have changed the result but come on first Tai Tuivasa now this bs

Every fight Gane either pokes eyes, kicks groins, or uses blows to the back of the head. Sometimes he commits more than one of those fouls, like yesterday with raking Spivak's eye, then the blows to the back of the head.

So weird how he always gets a pass.

I thought this thread was going to be about the pack of hotdogs on the back of Gane's neck.

well, maybe the TS is a troll, bit it's clear that it has more to do with the way Gane submits his opponent. He beats them up until they quit, and then, he doesn't seem to have the KO power to finish them quickly. Or maybe he doesn't want to let them have a chance to counter him in desperation.

but when he does that, making his opponent wanting to quit, and he does that a lot, then it's difficult to touch only the face when the guy is turning back in turtle position, on his feet or on his knees.

JDS: people were saying it wasn't. Now it counts? What gives? It either was or wasn't.

Lewis: already on the ground shelling up.

Tuivasa: already doing the chicken dance from the right hand.

The thing is, he did do it to Tuivasa and Spivak. what's complicated is that the people he fouls are already on the verge of being finished so it's very hard for a ref to step in and stop it because what caused the beginning of the end wasn't the foul.

Everyone making excuses for Gane.... control.

The same scenario happens in a lot of fights and the refs still warn the fighter throwing the punches when the other fight is turtling up.

Gane clearly gave zero fucks where his punches were landing.

eye pokes happen the rest of the stuff is never his fault

I was ok with the head shots before the ref stopped it, but there was a knee and a kick that went pretty low. Serghei rolled with it, so perhaps they didn’t land as low as it looked. The worst for me was the way Gane was reaching to push off the head with his fingers outstretched as a primary means of keeping space. He’s going to poke a lot of eyeballs in future.

The fight before Spivak was only 2 min long, yet....

there's dirty tactics in every single fight for him
So what? he's fighting the king of eye pokes himself. Lots of people have low kicked before lots.

Jon litterally turns his leg the second cryil throws a kick and you're still here bringing it up
