Izzy won their final bout and it's just eating away at Alex knowing this.

His poor fans have been on meltdown about it ever since, talking about older fights like those ones are more relevant than the last one. Lol

Pereira is the LHW Champ, Izzy just got shutout and took the worst L of his career against Stickland.

Izzy is yesterdays news

This is what makes MMA betting so lucrative… oddsmakers are couch potatoes with zero knowledge on the sport.

Izzy finally beating a severely depleted 185 Pereira (who had just made weight 3months earlier) in a fight he was easily getting picked apart has no bearing on a LHW fight where Poatan is obviously the much bigger guy and power carries even more dramatically.

It’s 50/50 at MW because of the weight cut, it’s about 99/1 in Poatans favor at LHW

Yet he still knocked Pereira dead in their last fight and sent him packing to 205

Weak sauce

Alex is such a respectful dude for offering him a gift of a title shot to keep him active.
Good guy Alex.

I'm an Izzy fan (obviously) but you'd be a fool not a favour Pereira at LHW. Homeboy was killing himself to make middleweight and weighed 185 for all of about 5 seconds. Izzy on the other hand came in a 203 in his one and only LHW fight. A rematch at Middleweight would be a lot more even but Alex is so severely depleted at that weight it's like beating a far inferior version of him.

na Alex should be favored, 205 is his natural weight class, Izzy is too tiny for 205, Alex would have a better chin since he doesn't cut as much

"sent him packing" as in "refused to fight him again", not exactly the action of a man with great confidence he'd win the MMA trilogy.

Read that back and think about how the UFC operates and explain to me how this even makes a little bit of sense.

Izzy can't stop Pereira from earning another shot at him but LOL @ Pereira deserving an immediate rematch.

Pereira left on his own accord. Izzy didn't force him to do anything. How can you even begin to entertain the idea of Pereira being made to do something because izzy said so....

Lol at the haters :

- Alex almost lost by KO in their second KB match, but was litteraly saved by the referee.
- Almost lost by KO in their first UFC fight, but was litteraly saved by the bell.
- Nothing to save him in their last fight, so lost the fight by KO.

Alex only has a single non-controversial win over Izzy and it's in the UFC, yet he was supposed to crush Izzy in all of their fights {<jordan}

First of all Pereira vs Hill is next.. and I don't think Pereira wins that one.

Second.. depleted Alex was beating the shit out of gynosanya last time around until he got caught. He eats him alive at 205.

The punch he landed on Pereira was not lucky but Pereira getting overagressive like that was. If Pereira would have just stayed disciplined and not tried to finish he would likely be 4-0 against Izzy rn. Pereira is the bigger guy, chin is likely better at 205 and now he knows not to let his guard down. I don't see Izzy beating him again, especially at 205.
