The only thing rididiculous here is your logic. That's not what op said at all and is not comparable one is a sadistic and heinous crime where there's a predator and a victim the other is a single man competing in at the highest level of mixed martial arts where practically everyone is using PEDS. In other words he'd be an absolute moron not to and by not doing it he's putting his own career and health on the line. If everyone else is doing what they need to do why shouldn't he? Stop holding him to hire standards than everyone else. He's clearly the greatest fighter ever.Lmao. What a ridiculous take.
Its like saying "Joe Son being a rapist is okay because other people have committed rape, and technically he was only one part of a gang anyway, so he did nothing wrong."
None of them want to, but they all do it.And for fighters who don't wanna juice???
Most mma fans "idolize pictograms" weirdo only the resentful minority don't and make ridiculous posts like yours.Tell us you idolize Picograms w/out actually telling us. The man's a fraud, hiding under the octagon at Jax-Winklejohn, lol. GOAT my a$$.
>imagine suggesting it's OK for a fighter to use peds when they're rapid in the sport and so many of his opponents have tested positiveThis is a scary post that should honestly be destroyed lol
Imagine trying to promote such things as good and should be done cuz it proves you want it so bad..
Jones fucked up his Legacy he'll have to live with that but just because other people break rules or laws doesnt make it any less illegal or wrong...
This type of defense wouldn't work on speeding ticket charge let alone explaining a failed drug test...
Bad bad take
What was the stricter testing that began a month after he retired? It is worthy remembering that GSP retired barely a month before strict drug testing came in
I just love how so many of his delusional fans act as if he just dominated everyone he ever faced, reality is he lost 3 out of 5 rounds against Gus and clearly lost to Reyes and personally I thought Santos did more damage and pushed the fight more. So its not like he just whoops everyone not even close. So why did he shoot steroids then, if it didn't matter anyway?
Roids are for losers.
True GOATs => Fedor & GSP
Truth.Don’t spin a false narrative. GSP stepped away because the UFC was refusing to implement real testing.
"I think this is a big problem in the sport," St-Pierre said. "Remember, because I'm an athlete, I have information internally and I know what happens. If you begin to test everyone, how (many) will be caught? I do not want to speak in public and I'm not accusing anyone, but the image of the sport may be affected."
Recently, the UFC backed more stringent drug testing measures when it funded enhanced testing for a heavyweight bout between Travis Browne and Josh Barnett at this past month's UFC 168. The promotion requires fighters to pass a drug screen prior to finalizing fight contracts, and with the increased prevalence of testosterone-replacement therapy, it has taken to monitoring fighters using the treatment in jurisdictions without an overseeing athletic commission.
To St-Pierre, however, the current measures are not enough. He said PED use remains rampant among UFC fighters.
"Everyone knows who, when, where and how," he said. "There are people, some doctors, and everyone will see the same. It's like all sports. Where there is money, there are ways to cheat, and it will always be so. But I think we should take steps to minimize those things, because it is not fair. I tried to change things remaining diplomatic. Unfortunately, people were not ready to change. This is OK, but I was disappointed."
Georges St-Pierre says he felt alone in his fight against performance-enhancing drugs at the height of his career and reign as champion. He even claimed that the UFC didn’t want fighters to be tested.
“I was on top of that fight against performance-enhancing drugs in the sport, and I felt like the UFC, at the time, did not have my back. They didn’t want it. They didn’t want any part of it (testing),” he said.
“The UFC didn’t have my back on that, at first. They didn’t want nothing of it. They even told the other guys, ‘Oh, don’t take the test, don’t take the test.’
“It drove me crazy. And if I could go back, I would’ve held my stand and said, ‘Oh yeah, you don’t want to do the test? I’m out.’ I would’ve even retired.”
Georges St-Pierre wonders how it could’ve been if he was on PEDs
Georges St-Pierre was already an exceptional and dominant fighter during his peak. All of that is evident just by looking at his résumé and the competition he faced.
But he was also made to wonder how things would’ve been like if he was on the juice.
“I asked myself, ‘How good would I be if I took some stuff?’ Even some of my training partners, they tell me they take certain things and I see (they’re) not even the same people when they are and they are not (on PEDs). Crazy difference.
“People that say, ‘Oh, it has nothing to do with the (drugs) because you’re the one throwing the punch.’ Yes, it has something to do (with it). It’s a bullshit excuse, because when you take performance-enhancing drugs, it changes you not only physically, it changes you mentally.”
To be fair whilst obviously not as bad as Son Jones record outside the cage is hardly spotless. The only thing rididiculous here is your logic. He was the one that wanted itJones is actually the most successful GOAT who has consistently fought under strict drug testing. It is worthy remembering that GSP retired barely a month before strict drug testing came in
"Cheating isn't wrong because other people have done it"
Tried telling my girl the same shit
most pro athletes are on juice including UFC fighters. Not sure how sherbros still don't get it.
Mark Coleman has pretty much admitted that he threw the Takada fight on a couple of occasions... one time was before UFC 109 where he fought Randy Couture in his retirement bout:not to go off topic but everyone also claimed Mark Coleman threw the fight against Takada in I think Pride 5 but when Coleman was interviewed he clearly says he never threw the fight which I believed.

So what, you're saying that Nick Diaz is on gear? But he's always talking shit about people who are!! Plus he's vegan, come on, Nick is obviously not a roid monkey, and neither is his brother, so stop saying that.Gullible people underestimate how much people are on gear. I remember the blood tests coming out for Cormier and Jones and they both were fucked up. They all use something at the top level to make them perform the best they can. Gear doesn't only increase mass. Training 2x-3x a day while staying on weight and dieting is hard as fuck. When you're going up against someone training to take your life while also being near the 0,01% top in the world. People are going to use stuff. They're doing it in Soccer, Cycling whatever sport you can imagine, they will also do it in fighting sports.
The thing is... most everyone is on or using something, legal or otherwise, especially the further you go back.
Using the unscientific eyeball test... nothing I've seen about Jones make me believe that he'd be any less dominant if he and absolutely everyone he faced was clean as a whistle.
So yeah, a failed drug test doesn't really effect my opinion of his greatness. Hell, I pine for the Super Juice League (SJL). Could be based in SE Asia, only allow vet fighters 35yo+, and PEDs would be required. Old man skills in young man bodies, the best fighters science can make.
The same way Islam was absolved from taking meldonium, right?Jon Jones has done nothing wrong. Jon has been absolved.
