I'm a truck driver and can testify that few drivers deliver 53' trailer loads INTO NYC, the vast majority are delivered just outside of it and the cargo is transfered to smaller trucks & vans that make deliveries into NYC.

A relatively few independent truckers refusing loads into NYC is completely irrelevant.

If there was an organized strike of dozens of truck-driving companies refusing to deliver to both NYC & surrounding areas... THAT would have severe consequences even if it was a fraction of the shipments to NYC it'd have a serious economic effect.
