I must admit I'm kind of hooked watching these. I thought it was some ridiculous crazy shit not worth watching and they would have no sustainability at all. Yet I find myself sticking with it. This will be an appetizer for the night before UFC 300.
Max does in fact does have a granite chin but not a good idea to have Justin blast away at it. It will not end well for Max. If he isn't sustaining a lot of damage then his pressure could carry him to a W but we know he is likely to really get hurt coming in.
It is underwhelming given the overly high expectations. It's a good fight especially if Hill is back and really ready to get after it. The UFC may or may not admit it but things just didn't fall right for them to have the main event they ideally wanted and other options were limited.
Let him fade away on Fight Night prelims until no more fights on the contract. It has come to that for him. He is in denial and I don't know if there is anyone close to him that he listen to. It's no coming back from where he is. Just a deeper freefall.
I read somewhere he has interest in boxing in Saudi Arabia. He may have to do one more fight for the UFC but he is probably going to try and get out of whatever remains with his contract.
He doesn't want Merab and no point throwing out a fake ass callout. He calling out Ilia knowing Dana going to let him know it's not time for that shit. He didn't know what to say.
I'm not much of a fan of either so no rooting interest. I'm curious how it goes given their last fight. Sean I expect wins it. Mostly hope its good main event.
Anthony Joshua will be in shape and not taking Francis for granted. He should win it comfortably. I like Francis and glad to see him in these featured bouts getting nice paydays.
I doubt that there was any thought of that. If anything they didn't want a PPV before 300 that everyone would pass on. So they have this nice run of stacked PPVs 298,299 and 300.
Gaethje will win this. Not because of any BMF BS but because he will dominate on the physicality side as the fight goes on. Rack up damage and points for decision win.
He probably said "fuck it. It's 12 fights and I'm done". I guess if there is one then it will be released this weekend. I'm not holding my breath for it.
Quite possible with a loss. Certainly with a lopsided loss I think he gives it up. It's the fan in me though that thinks he'll win this. This is a fight he wanted and wanted it in Miami. He seems motivated to turn back BSD. It will be a good fight.
True but it has always been the case. I doubt he's trying to hear any of it at this point. He will be in there with someone and may get a KO that will have some talking him up again.
