Or you could look at that metric another way, Hendricks sucks at holding people down and Condit with his superior grappling was able to get up almost every time he was taken down.
Technically Chael came the closest to beat Jones. Had he lasted 27 more seconds he would have been champ because Jones’toe injury would have been an injury TKO.
Sad way to win but it *technically* would have given the title to Sonnen.
Not for nothing, Crocop was like 70 fights deep between mma and kickboxing when he came to the UFC. Also, Gonzaga was primarily a grappler, who knew he could throw a nasty headkick before that fight?

I haven’t liked Rothwell since he was juiced up and showed cardio he never had before in the fight with Vera. Vera won rnds 1 + 2, the Rothwell comes out like a spring chicken in rnd 3 showing a gas tank unlike anything he ever showed before to stop Vera. The epitome of tomfoolery.

Only thing I have to correct you on is Hendo’s punch. It was a weird angle but Hendo put his whole lower body into that uppercut and it was a punch Fedor never saw coming. If you watch it Hendo drives with his legs when he throws it. Very few people could have taken that shot without at least...
