That's a rough travel schedule. Makes sense to compete as often as your mind/body/career allows you to now that you have the ability. Until you retire (assuming you haven't already), there's always the chance you'll ship out again and miss more competition time.

Tipping for fast food is dumb. Tipping in general is dumb, just give people an actual hourly wage instead. I still tip because the system is screwed up, but I'm always pissed at giving someone extra money for doing all the extra work of popping off a cap of an overpriced beer.
