If you mean mainstream in general, then yeah, but BJJ stories are never going to be mainstream. Although having said that, there were more mainstream news stories about the Team Lloyd Irvin rape scandal, such as on Deadspin and the Miami New Times. If you mean mainstream within BJJ circles...

I don't bother with sit-ups in my warm-ups, but not because I dislike the exercise. The problem for me is that it isn't BJJ specific enough. Much better IMO to do something that works the same muscles, but is something you would actually do in BJJ. E.g., I get people to drill sit-up/hip bump...

Because it fits well (no plans to transition, but I guess I must have a womanly figure ;)) and I think the company is awesome: Fenom do a lot for women in BJJ. :)

I don't think the Geo Omori book is available in English, but you can get an eBook, here. Somebody I know bought that, but he said you need one of those Brazilian national tax code things. I've had a flick through, but as my Portuguese is poor, lots of Google Translate action. :)
