News BREAKING Mike Tyson was offered a fight with Alexander Emelianenko and Kharitonov

Tyson pissed away whatever was left once Robin Givens and Don King were done with him. King literally had his entire family on Tyson's payroll at one point, just siphoning his money away.

2 days ago it was "I'm stuck in Russia"

Depending on where the fight is, he might not even be allowed into that country.

UFC to Leon Edwards: You Have 3 Hours to Leave England

I would be concerned if the UFC would pay expenses if stranded in the USA , once fight was cancelled. These people are not employees, as DW likes to remind us, so they have to look out for themselves at the end of the day. Outside of a tribal casino , UFC won't get a licence to hold fights...

    UFC 236 is quite dreadful

That's true of 90% of UFC shows now, a couple decent fights on the main card, the rest is populated by scrubs your never heard of. MMA is getting like boxing , that very few must see fights happen anymore.

This is the end for Tony, isn't it?

Not getting a title fight any time soon. Sounds like the guy may be off his meds.

How the hell do you get thrown in jail for smashing someones phone?

That's the purpose of the 13th amendment

    DC better than Cain

Cormier is more durable than Cain, athletically I think Cain has more talent, is a more rounded MMA practitioner. However Cain's inactivity doesn't help him when it comes to comparisons to active fighters. Cain has had 8 fights since 2010 , DC had 19, since 2015 Cain had 3 fights , DC 7. AKA...

    Cain Conned WME

Well he doesn't get paid if he doesn't fight, plus UFC/WME has escape clauses built into their contracts.

    Media Ngannou VS Velasquez breakdown

Uppercut stunned him for sure. Looks like the left leg got jammed against the cage , which contributes to the wrecked knee. Cain is way to fragile for competition, 20 month layoff, only to get a major injury in return fight, time to call it a career.

Ronda Rousey will return to the UFC one day.

WWE money has likely set her for life, she is talking of leaving WWE to have kids, so unlikely to head back to MMA. The veil of invincibility has also been lifted off her, so her intimidation factor is greatly diminished.

How Do You Feel About WMMA These Days? (gif heavy)

This weekends wmma fight doesn't deserve to be on the main card. I just noticed there are 3 WMMA fights on this weekends card, 2 too many.

Why does Cormier want to fight Brock, whom he said would beat him at wrestling?

Brock reacts poorly when punched, Cormier's wrestling if sufficient to defend take downs, and has a great gas tank. Brock loses against Cormier 99/100.

Big Foot’s daughter making MMA debut?

Not bad,, I was expecting a lot worse!

    Boycott Jones

Not gonna happen, he's a huge payday for most guys. DC is at a point now where he can avoid Jones, Jones won't moveup to HW, and no need for DC to go back down to LHW. DC vs Brock , then retirement.

Should Anderson Silva call out GSP if he beats Adesanya?

I doubt AS can pass a drug test at this point in his career.

Moving down in weight versus moving up

I meant in weight, not height, Stipe is closer in weight to DC. Anyone weighing in at the 165Lb limit will have a weight advantage on DC.

Who Can Take TJ Dillashaw Seriously as BW Champ Now?

No , Dana's goal was to eliminate the 125 division. TJ was a hired gun essentially, if he beat Cejudo , then Dana would have had justification to declare FW as redundant , and eliminate the weight class. He may still accomplish that , at the expense of sacrificing his BW champ in a rematch at...

Moving down in weight versus moving up

Looks like cutting the extra weight is likely an issue . With only a day to recover the "smaller" fighter recovers to their natural weight quicker. GSP and Conor are big for their initial weight classes, so moving up was good for them. Neither has dropped back down since moving up either. DC...

TheGuardian blasts Dana: "You don't bounce back from hitting women" is the UFC's biggest lie

Wow , Dana White went back on his word. Who would have expected that????

Nunes vs Cyborg was JDS vs Cain 1

Hopefully , previously Dana seemed only interested in marketing "lookers", JJ being the exception. Nunes' looks and nationality/language may work against her in the promotion department. Given who she has beaten , she should be a breeze to market, but Dana has proven resistant to marketing...
