I think Hamilton really wants that record 8th Championship and doesn't see it happening at Mercedes as they keep losing key people. There are certainly some bad feelings about the 2016 Championship that Hamilton lost by 5 points to Rosberg and Mercedes probably see Russell as the future.

Yeah. The goat was seen as making a mistake when he left McLaren and that couldn’t turn out any better. Hopefully he made a good decision. He knows he has the skills to compete with anyone on the grid, even at 39. Let’s hope Ferrari has a good package for him in 25 and 26.

Hamilton has also expressed an interest in becoming a father. At almost 40 he's getting a little old for that. If he wants to get any children into racing, they should be in their teens by now.

Pulling a Favre could refer to many things. Favre sent dick pics to a female Jets trainer. It was rumored that he knocked up his own daughter. He was involved in a scheme that got Federal money that was supposed to be used to help the poor in Mississippi to build a new facility for volleyball at the school his daughter attended and helped fund a scam that claimed to produce medications for concussions.

Meanwhile NASCAR, Nutty Assholes Seemingly Can't Arrange Racing, will start the season with qualifying for the Daytona 500 on Wednesday night. NASCAR in their infinite stupidity will have cars running all out on one of the fastest tracks in the world for qualifying with absolutely no prior practice time.

This comes after the debacle last weekend when they moved the Clash up because of weather. It probably didn't matter much as it was one of very few sporting events on the weekend.

Anyone watching the Bathurst 12 hour race? They are just over halfway, it's raining and they are running under a safety car. Kind of odd for an endurance race. It doesn't seem to be raining that hard.

NASCAR season starting out badly. Saturday's races were canceled and the 500 has been called for Sunday and will be run on Monday. Rather unusual for 2 full days of rain in Florida and the weather being predictable enough to cancel so far ahead of time.

Reports are that messages were turned over including one where Horner offered the person making the accusations L650,000 which would be about $800,000. Horner was interviewed by a lawyer hired by Red Bull for several hours. The lawyer was supposed to report to Red Bull but the lawyer promptly disappeared after the interview.
