***2024 NBA Thread - Let The Games Begin***

I’d even put an asterisk on the last title. Faced the nuggets without Murray and MPJ then the grizz without Morant. Never seen a team benefit from injuries more than the Warios.

It all evens out in the end. In 2015 the Cavs deserved to win and the Warriors did and in 2016 the opposite was true.

Also its hard to argue the Warriors benefitted the most from injuries with 2019 being a thing. The Warriors were knocked out of contention for 2 full years after that because of injuries and 2022 was really their last hurra. Without injuries they'd have been a threat the whole time.

Lebron will never know who you are, no matter how many accounts you go through, or how much hate you got for curry
Sweet, what does that have to do with him having subpar drafting everywhere he's been?

Lol are you high?

Not even one shooter? he had Ray Allen, who for that time was the best shooter in the league ffs. On a team with Wade and Bosch, that's as stacked as it gets for that period.

Kyrie has always been a solid shooter, Lebron has had plenty of others too. The shooters from past teams only seem average because they're compared to today, because shooting went insane the last few years.

Kevin Love and Kyrie were elite for that time (nba is better now). The role players they had fit really well at the Cavs.

You're actually arguing that he hasn't had enough help?
6th man Ray Allen in his prime starting 9 games in his last 2 years

Wade, a slashing guard who's career got shortened due to the play style, and Chris Bosh who's mid range game was negated by the fact he was utilized as a center when spacing wasn't even the same as it is now. Was Bosh a good mid range shooter? Sure, for a center.

Was Bosh a good mid range shooter? Sure, for a center. you can look at his shot charts. He was a sub 40% shooter from his apparent "great midrange" ability.

He played good minutes. He never started because they had D Wade at his position and he was the leader of the 2nd unit. What made the 2013 Miami Heat so formidable was their bench was a borderline playoff team.

So he wasn't in his prime? Thanks for the confirmation.

Btw, Rashard Lewis was out of the league after Miami too. That was an injured Lewis. That was not a borderline playoff team lmao

LeBron is going to average 30-10-10 vs Denver

Pre Season. Mid Season. NBA.

As there every been a triple champ in one season. I didn't think so...

He was backing up the 3rd best SG of all time. No shame.

Average stats for bench players don't mean they wouldn't have done well with more minutes. Without their starting lineup the Heat would still be a borderline team. Allen, Lewis, Miller, Birdman, Battier, Juwan Howard. Playoff team that gets bounced in the 1st maybe gets lucky and goes to round 2. .

It’s not revisionism, when you say no all stars it means for that season. The reason there were no all stars on that team in 2011 is those "older all stars" were no longer all star level.
Yup not revising anything at all lmao. All star caliber player at that time is what I obviously meant, not if they were an all star in the past. There is no argument for this at all. You pretty much said what I would say so I’m not going to repeat it to him.

All of those mother fuckers except birdman and miller were ancient. Get the fuck out of here with this shit. The entire reason they got those players were because of team friendly deals on old ring chasers who were no longer good enough for big contracts.

Lol at the LeBrick defense , the most hated athlete in sports. Take a national poll right now, people can’t stand Lefraud , when he says anything social / political people tell him to STFU

his style of play is trash. Kids still want to be like Mike, Kobe , Curry .

You don't need to be in your prime to be helpful to a team.

Kids actually want to be like Kelly Olynyk.

Kids wanting to be rapists, cucks, and gambling addicts isn't exactly a positive thing bud

You cant have a starting line up of 38+ year old fucking role players and make the playoffs

You're only saying that because no ones had the balls to try.

Also I think you are going a bit overboard with the ages.

Battier was 35, Allen and Howard were 38+ and Lewis was 34 and 7 years removed from his prime due to injuries. They all retired.
