UFC electing to have a year between title fights in a weight class is bullshit.

  • Bad for Fans
  • Bad for Fighters (especially contenders)
  • Bad for the sport

It must have an audience to keep running with this reality TV crap.

I don't know who the audience is, but if there is one, who am I to complain?

But yeah, as always, no interest from me personally.

There will be a lot of learning about the UFC 300 main event debacle.

Plan ahead, pay it forward, don't be complacent and assume you'll get a gift from the heavens at just the right time.

That said, yeah, it's a long damn time to wait for a title shot, and a lot of people suffer as a result.

100% correct, from a rankings and competitiveness perspective.

I just feel like there’s more hype/intrigue behind the two larger names, which is totally justified for Rose (as a former champ) and a little less so for Barber, but the latter is still young and coming off of an exciting performance (and decent win streak).
 
Make me wanna sign up for a Power Slap match now so I can get into the Apex and maybe brush elbows with someone still high off the energy of seeing Alexa barefoot ting will be mad lit fam lookin' forward to this experience hopefully she got dem piggies painted too 😻
 
Jesus, why. Hardly anyone watched conors tuf and then he never fought. Have no idea who's team won that one either.

Just have them fight, enough of these shows.

I feel like Grasso/Val winner is just holding the belt warm for the Blanchfield/Fiorot winner. I wouldn't favor Grasso against either of them and not this older version of Val who is struggling against Grasso.
 
if we get lots of slow-motion footage of Alexa's feet and Val firing guns then I'll forgive Dana for this

im not even mad at some of those suggestions but do you watch TUF? honestly?
i havent in over a decade. i dont see a lot of buzz in the MMA world for it anymore.

As long as she yelling “Heyyyy” every few seconds you know you’re doing well.

A show with a woman I can’t stand. For a fight I don’t want to see again. I’ll watch the trilogy of course. But you couldn’t pay me to listen to Shevchenko talk.
 
I like this decision I guess -- the only thing I don't like is how much more it will delay Grasso from deffending her belt.
 
Crazily enough TUF feels so irrelevant.

Brad Katona has won 2 seasons beating extremely tough fighters in Bryce Mitchell, Timur Valiev and Kyler Phillips and his UFC record (Outside of TUF finale fights) is 1-3 with far less hype than Dana's prized DWCS fighters like..... Sedriquis Dumas
