All Time GOAT poll

Yeah if that Arona fight was in Pride, Fedor probably loses that fight.

But it was in Rings, I love Fedor but when your bring up shit like the Reyes fight and then in return don't mention this one I seriously have to question the bias of people.
Fedor vs Arona in PRIDE is a completely different fight. In RINGS, there was no ground strikes to the head, you could only hit to the body or grapple if you were on the ground. Simply attempting submissions, regardless of how unlikely they were, was prioritized in the scoring.

Fedor vs Arona went the way it did *because* of the ruleset. Under a different ruleset, that fight plays out very differently imho.

Bones popped so he's not the GOAT? That's nonsense.

Jon Jones is the best fighter of the 2010s, and he's in the conversation with Fedor (the GOAT of the 2000s) for the best fighter ever.

Bones popped for PEDs 9 years after his first MMA fight and in the meantime defended the LHW belt 8 times and destroyed some huge names like Bader, Shogun, Rampage, Machida, Belfort, etc.

Just because somebody popped for PEDs in one match can not be an argument to discriminated their amazing achievements.

Anybody watching Bones in the early 2010s clearly remembers the sheer violence this guy did with his wrestling & GNP.

These are facts. 💯
The PEDs argument comes mostly from the GSP fanbase, a bunch of purists with idealists views about the world

Fedor never lost to Matt Serra, GSP fanboys are the worst species to ever be around MMA

Love Fedor, he's #2 IMO, but aside of the Serra hiccup, GSP's resume is absolutly 100% pristine, and arguably the strongest ever (it's either him or Jon Jones, but he's a cheater so fuck him)

BS, Hendricks also was robbed against him, GSP fanboys are the worst, completely irrational

The only reason people ever gave a shit about Hendricks was because he knocked out Fitch.
He would go on to lose to gatekeepers and become more famous for missing weight afterward.
Judges robbed him, but you can't blame them being accustomed to just writing the GOATs name into the 'Winner:' space.

I don’t think that’s fair to say about Hendricks. He also sparked out Kampmann that way, and went into the GSP fight on a 6-fight win streak that included Fitch, Kampmann, Koscheck, and Condit. That’s a pretty solid run.

Oh it was a good run i agree wholeheartedly. Maybe I've always been a bit of a Hendricks hater because he sparked my boy Kampmann who I thought was an exciting striker in a wrestler dominant division.

I’m not really a Hendricks fan either lol. He just seemed so douchey. But whether it was USADA or some other thing, he sure seemed to fall off a cliff. Hendricks at his best was a very tough fighter though.

I think it was the IV ban. Hendricks had a terrible diet and self control self admittedly.
Firas Zahabi thinks Hendricks was on PEDs, which isn't something a coach with his reputation throws around lightly. According to Hendricks himself, he was 220lb in ring against George's, which if true is insane and beyond any cut even Rumble Johnson did.

That’s a good point about the IV ban, you could very well be right.

I'm convinced. The IV ban went into effect October of 2015. Hendricks had only one fight at WW making weight after where he looked slow and drained against Wonderboy and got a foot up his ass. Misses weight against Gastelum (imagine being thr guy that misses weight the one time Kelvin makes it) and Magny, goes up to MW, misses weight in his second MW fight. He went from holding a divisional title to being utterly incapable of making not only that divisions weight, but only a 66% rate (admittedly low sample size) of making weight for the division above only two years later. There were cope excuses that he "never mentally recovered" from being robbed against GSP even though he won the title in his next fight lol.
Hendricks 100% abused IVs, that is a certainty.
PEDs? I'm not entirely sure, but the timing and sharp decline make sense.

Fedor is goat he wins fights from crazy positions lime randlman

Fedor has been knocked out by Middleweight, past his prime Dan Henderson....

Barillas is the worst, completly irrational

Do you have an explanation as to how he manages to evade USADA all the years?
Costa is one of the most tested fighters in the UFC.

Have we forgotten about Grease-gate? We have evidence that GSP is a cheater too. Goes into a fight against BJ lathered up like he's about to star in a porn flick so BJ couldn't grab him.

It's also hilarious that GSP "retired" from the sport citing PED when literally 6 months later mandatory drug testing was implemented. It wasn't a secret. Everyone knew it was coming and the UFC has been testing how to implement drug training prior to GSP "retirement."

I once watched a video of GSP in an interview explaining literally step by step how to beat a blood drawn drug test. I'm not going to believe a person that knows how to cook crack or use a spoon and cook heroin from memory never used it at one point. Just like I'm not dumb enough to believe that a guy from explain how to beat a blood drawn blood test never did it before.
