All these callouts do is prove what a massive superstar Conor truly is. The UFC doing some bullshit like "oh we want you to be the co-main event" what the fuck? This guy just generated the company in excess of $300 million from a fight with Floyd and has other big name boxers willing to fight him including a Floyd rematch but the UFC is playing hardball? The dude is the biggest draw the company has ever had and probably ever will have. Everyone knows that when Conor fights it's red panty night.
 
McGregor is done with pro boxing. He doesn’t want any more beatings.

Floyd plodded around the ring face first, throwing single shots and he still struggled to stretch McGregor for 10 rounds.

At least Khan would end it mercifully quick.
 
To be clear Amir Khan would absolutely mop the floor with Conor.

As if the Mayweather fight wasn't enough proof that it's a completely different game.

Honestly the level of striking in the UFC still leaves a lot to be desired, at least compared to professional boxing. There's just so much focus on grappling.

Khan only has blistering combos and hand speed. His chin is only an issue against elite boxers. He’s gotten clocked in sparring by Pacquiao, pounded by Maidana and has enough technique to outthink an amateurish boxer like Conor.

(After being knocked out by Prescott and Canelo, nobody is a “Hard puncher” to Khan)

It would be entertaining as hell and make big money, excluding MMA fans who don’t follow boxing. Big money from English/Irish and Pakistani television licensing.
