News Another comedian accused of rape..... this time of a 15 year old girl.

It doesn't even need to be framed as a gender thing.

It's more of a universal thing in regards to one generations fear of loss of relevance that they use to fuel their belittlement of the next generation. For example all the hate towards millenials.

It's not that he has no point and it doesn't automatically make him or me a statutory rape apolgist.

The truth is actually something that you might find more bothersome.

That what you consider statutory rape is just considered normal around most of the world.

Do you think those numbers make it ok?

Yo this thread ain’t even about jeff ross. Just a bunch of chomo apologists.

If a 34 year old male Scout Leader entered into a "relationship" with a 15 year old male Eagle Scout and took naked pics of him people would be calling for his death no matter how many years they dated.

A 34 year old man gets with a 15 year old girl, produced child pornography, and people in this thread are saying "She went looking for it, no big deal."? Some of you are absolutely f*cked in the head and probably have a strong penchant for children.
yeah, obviously that's terrible but the scout leader is in direct position of power over the scout and the scout is under age in that scenario.

If I read the article correctly the chick was 15 when they met and they were more like colleagues and the age of consent there is 16. If the romantic relationship started when she was 16 then that's like if someone met a chick when they were 17 and began a romantic relationship when she was 18 in a state where the age of consent is 18.

Either way in the scenario I proposed I think it's weird and fucking creepy but that's not my point.

My point is that it seems people like to find situations without evidence and tear people down to be able to see themselves as morally superior and at the same time they seem unwilling to really think through the situation but they would rather position themselves in relation to some monster they paint the other as to confirm to themselves that they are a good person. How the fuck can they do that when the very act of passing judgement without evidence is monsterous!?

@aldeniro78

My internalized cultural taboos dictate to me that those numbers are weird as fuck.

I think it's weird because people in there teen years are immature and sexual relationships, especially at a young age, can be traumatic for someone and that trauma may not surface for years to come.

My point is if it's considered normal there then, even if it is traumatic for the younger person, the older person in those places is possibly not considering that because that idea might not be a part of their culture. It's too easy to pass judgement on them without considering that notion. The fact people are willing to pass that sort of judgment without considering the idea I proposed I see as problematic because it indicates a lack of empathy coupled with making a monster out of the other person, de facto, so they can see themselves as a good person while they feel morally justified in tearing others apart. That last thing I described I see as monstrous itself and because of that I see the people engaged in it as hypocrites.

When did they first have sex? Age of consent in MA is 16.

I couldn't find it but okay. You do realise she was a 15 year old girl right? Holy shit I hope you don't have kids. The age of consent isn't 15 where you live is it?
Were you ever 15? 15 year old girls are horny. They try to fuck boys, they try to fuck men. Not all, but some. I met them. I had some cheat on me. Its not right of bim to pursue her or even give her what she wants but to pretend that they often times dont seek out the attention or relationship is false. Beleive it or not most guys arent running around trying to pick up young girls. This whole thing is a two wat street.

They're 15. They don't know what the fuck they're doing? The fact so many people on this forum immediately leap to a grown man's defence over that of a child is somewhat unsettling.

Jeff Ross is my favorite roaster. His roast about Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love was priceless.

As for the accusation. All I can say is he's innocent until proven guilty. So will see how this debacle turns out.

No it isnt. We used to have kids working in sweatshops too. Just because we used to do things a certain way, doesnt mean it was harmless. Turns out it's psychologically harmful to force kids into adult roles.

By your logic adults also shouldn't take on adult responsibilities because the amount of mental illness in the US has gone up.
Considering the amount of mental illness in adults at what point do you determine it's not psychologically harmful for "kids" to take on adult roles.

Who said anything about force? If a 13 year old wants to contribute to the household in a myriad of ways and is prevented by the board of education because they think it's more important to write some notes on a peace of paper, which is force in this case?

Right, like homework and playtime.

Last I checked homework isn't an adult responsibility, it's fake responsibility. This is apparent in that once you produce said homework and it's graded you can throw it straight in the trash. School work is unimportant as well. No matter how important a teacher tells you it is, once the bell rings you are supposed to drop this supposedly important work and move on to another class. What else can a student learn other than no work is worth finishing, unless it's in an allotted time? And if you are to spend more than five minutes more than the allotted time, you are to abandon it.

It shouldn't matter what the age of consent is in a given area. An adult coming onto someone who is 15 is fucked up regardless of the law. Just because I've lived my life in an area where the age of consent is 16 doesn't mean I'm cool with chasing after 16 year olds.

So many posts in this thread calling him being a rapist. He responded to these allegations already and denies everything. Saying that she's mentally ill and this accusations has been investigated already and found to be false.

Now maybe he's lying but at the very least we shouldn't assume she's telling the truth. Now it's just a he said/she said. Until we can find out now about these investigations that Ross is referring to.

Yeah please don't take things I said and rephrase them as things I did not say. Tired of doing that here, so if you keep doing it I'll just stop responding.

It's not necessarily that more people are mentally ill today, as much as it is that psychology was in its infancy generation's ago. And no, a 13 year old should be getting an education. Not working so they can compensate for adults that aren't properly providing for them.

The average 13 year old is not mature enough to work anyway.

Oh, I thought he'd come out and admit to it.

I’m talking about what 13 year olds are qualified to do in a world where we have nuclear plants and almost everyone has the opportunity to learn advanced mathematics.

Homework is goddamn important for some fields because the student is learning to, hopefully, interact with and understand the little mysteries contained in their text book. Written by a professional in the field, rather than their stressed out teacher. It’s their only interaction with a world they might enter.

I don’t really care if we once sent 13 year olds to their deaths charging enemy ships, and I don’t think it was a great thing to have to send 18 year olds to their deaths at the beaches of Normandy. These are things to be avoided. Unlike homework, which can be squeezed for lots of information like a warm lemon, before being discarded; if it’s the right homework.

Well, then I think it's fair to say that we are in agreement that the age of consent there is too low.

Your virtue signaling doesn't negate my point though.

That's the issue I have with these sorts of conversations is that people will chime in with 2020 eyes and virtue signal but ask them to think critically and there's a good chance of being equated with a "paedophile apologist."

When the ancient Greeks were around sexual relationships with ungerage boys and slavery was considered normal. Does that make it right? Hell no! The issue then becomes it being considered normal at the time.

When I point out that most of the US's age of consent Laws are 16 and most of Europes age of consent laws are 16 and below I'm pointing out that maybe what's considered normal is a problem but when you try to use that as leverage to frame me as a "paedephile apologist" then you're the ass hole not me for pointing it out to cast light on an issue that people refuse to see because it might mean they have to put their pitch fork away.
