Media Anthony Smith says Leon Edwards is a frustrating champion, looking for safe win over Sean

Hope Colby wrestles him to death for 25 minutes and takes the strap. Leon is annoying AF, hurry up and fight. Only downside to Colby winning is another potential “champ champ” opportunity for Islam who has also not cleared out his division (but has a better chance to than Leon).

Anthony Smith the frustrating journeyman

I agree with Anffony Smiff Leon is an entitled Diva and this is the only belt he should be holding.

UFC should ban champ vs champ fights. It's out of control and it fucks up two divisions at once.

Have guys like Leon and Islam talking about how there's no contenders? What the fuck is that?
Defend your title at least 5 times, than talk about moving up.

kinda weird to say leon should hurry up and fight while rooting for colby, leon isn't very active but he's fought twice since colby's last fight

True, but feels like he was the one who delayed the fight being made. He refused to fight him for a while

I love how he sat out a long ass time to get his title shot, and now that he finally won it, he has absolutely no interest in defending it

"A safe win over Sean," the guy who just beat Israel into a hiatus. People are right about Leon having a long list of WW contenders to fight through if he wants to be a great champion, but don't let Sean's antics deceive you, he's not a walk in the park for anyone.

You should require X amount of defenses, before being allowed to even consider this shit
