Biggest stat-padder of all-time?

Sean O'malley has been fighting cans for a while now.

As much as I hate to say it, Wanderlei and Gomi. They both fought and beat legit guys, but they have a lot of cans in their wins.

Gomi fought the best available in the LW circuit since his Shooto days. Just because you dont know them doesnt mean they were cans.

Wand is terrible pick also, even if he was in some few mismatches, he also took on the likes of Mirko and Hunt

Jon Fitch defeated like 2 ranked fighters his entire career but was considered a top 5 WW for at least 7 years of his career. Shit doesn't add up

diego sanchez lost half the fights he won.

Colby getting by at WW #1 by beating retired or aged fighters.
Masvidal (retirement soon): 0-3 since 2019, 2019 beat Nate Diaz (cut), Askren (retired and beat by Jake Paul), Till (lol)
Woodley (retired): 0-4 since 2018, 0-2 against Jake Paul
Lawler(almost retired): 2-7 since 2017, beating only Nick Diaz and Cowboy (lmao)
RDA(retirement coming soon): 3-5 since 2017, split decision over Felder and dec over Moicano at LW.
Maia (retired): 3-5 since 2017, only beat Lyman Good, Anthony Martin, Ben Askren. (who?)

LOL @ people saying Weidman.

"Aging" fighters that he fought are still way tougher than other people's padded records, just admit you are a hater

Giga's pre UFC record is as padded as possible

He was 7-2

in those 7 wins

0-1-0 Manzanares
2-31-0 Baines
0-0-0 Ceron
0-1-0 Gratts
0-13-0 Hernandez
1-10-0 Ross
0-0-0 Bear

So his 7 wins entering UFC had a combined record when he fought them of 3-56 <{danawhoah}>... I dont even know how a lot of those got sanctioned. It was def his kickboxing career that got him signed by UFC.
Yeah, he's a solid fighter, but I also felt his win over Jamal Emmers was a bit of a robbery.

The answer amongst name or semi-name fighters is going to be someone who draws a majority of their total fights from the regional scene relative to the pros.

Miguel Torres was absolutely legit, but had 33 fights before fighting in the WEC.

He went 6-2 in the WEC and then 2-2 in the UFC before cutting cut (albeit for things outside the cage).

So 32-1 in the padding phase, and 8-4 in the pro phase. 40-5 total record after leaving the UFC. Total understandable because in those days at that weight...you had super limited opportunities...but it's still padded relative to modern guys.

Jason Reinhardt's ratio is even worse. 20-0 outside the big leagues (not counting KOTC) and 0-3 in the big leagues.
