I always cringe when I hear people say they're going to give God a piece of their mind when they die....I don't think that's a good idea honestly. Any human encounter with God is followed by a deathly fear.

And whether or not he was innocent a Christian shouldn't expect life to be roses- in fact just the opposite. All who live Godly in Christ will suffer persecution and a quick look at Jesus Christ who lived a sinless and perfect life yet had no earthly riches to speak of and in fact was homeless as he stated, 'foxes have holes, birds have nest, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head,' and then was betrayed by one of his best friends, wrongly persecuted and tortured to death. A servant isn't above his Master and if Jesus Christ was subject to that type of persecution who do we think we are not to encounter any trouble in our life?

But- admittedly I don't want to suffer persecution. I don't want to encounter trouble but unfortunately all of us are going to encounter it in one way or another. God be with us and give us strength to endure the hardships of life.
 
If God existed, I don't think he'd appreciate Bill harassing women.
 
Nowhere on the the bible does it forbid sending gay pornography to your co-workers. It's every man's natural right.
 
This douche could start his own network for a fraction of the price of sexually harassing one woman with a falafel.

I think a lot of religious people are pretty fairweather these days. I'm on the atheist side of agnostic, but I respect religious people who accept blame for their misdeeds without pawning the blame off or pretending God has their back. Whatever God is, he shouldn't be a scapegoat.

If you feel guilty about something, think it is immoral, and has a bad influence? Make amends, ask for forgiveness/forgive yourself depending on your beliefs, and do something good.

No harm in being genuine and wanting to be a good example irregardless of beliefs.
