Its a myth that brock is afraid of punches, the only time he reacted that way was against carwin who hits like a truck, other than that he hasnt reacted badly against punches at all, against cain he was simply gassed and against hunt he didnt even flinch when he got hit so its a myth. I dont see anyone saying that about overeem who has many times literally turned his back and ran away.

Here is how "bad" Brock reacts to punches

Nah, Brock was panic wrestling in the first round against a 220 lb Randy Couture and he did the same against Cain in their fight. Was scared shitless against Hunt as well.

You need to re-evaluate the meaning of "debunked" and using Overeem doesn't debunk anything in regards to Brock. He kicked Brock right in the diverticulitis and made Brock run back to WWE.

You are a hypocrite if say brock is afraid and overeem isnt by that clear example. Brock was panic wrestling against randy? did you even watch the fight? he easily dominated him in the first round. He wasnt afraid of cain at all, quite the opposite, he was the one attacking and exchanging, he got hit by an uppercut and lost his balance. Against overeem he wasnt afraid either, he just got kicked in the liver. Against hunt he was cautious, anyone would be, myth debunked.

He didn’t react well in striking exchanges, at least not by championship level fighting standards. Could be that he was just the type who was disrupted if he got hit in a way he couldn’t help, could be that had he just had more experience he would have been to solve those jitters.

Regardless, “scared” would be the wrong word either way. Dude came back against a monster like Carwin and won. Lesnar’s tough. He just wasn’t particularly good in striking exchanges, and there’s no wonder why that would be given how late he started training.

Except his comeback against Carwin is one of the greatest comebacks in UFC history.

No it’s not lmao. Carwin gassed himself out punching Brock in the head and by some miracle the ref didn’t stop the fight. Brock just turtled up like he always does and somehow managed to survive and Carwin was exhausted.

Brock is a typical bully mentality.

He's berserker mode until he realizes someone can hang with him and fire back with heat.

Then he turtles right up.

That is only due to lack of experience in MMA or a real combat sport, had he trained in the sport longer I think we would have seen some fight maturity. What he did even though HWY wasn't the deepest division is still an incredible feat
