thats exactly what happened. Luckily brute size and strength go a long way in wrestling.

Wrestling is, like, a 3rd or 4th tier sport in the U.S., unlike Russia. There's a reason we always destroy them in basketball and track and field...our best athletes are usually playing other sports.

And they aren't wrestling. Well, some of them are, and are winning gold medals (Jordan Burroughs, for example).

Video evidence of Lesnar's wrestling, for one. Besides, the guys I just mentioned (Parris just this past summer and Steveson) are both Junior World champs and they're both true sophomores...no red shirt seasons for either.

Parris absolutely dominated during Jr. Worlds in freestyle, outscoring his opponents 36 - 3, pinning an Iranian in the finals, and spending only 6:15 on the mat in 4 matches...and Steveson beat Parris in the Big 10 finals back in March.
 
Kyle Snyder weighs 214 on a full stomach and pounds any version of brock -- or kurt.

and stephen neal won WORLDS. not junior worlds. lesnar was in close match as a junior. why would you think he'd get destroyed by these true sophomores?

Watch some video of them. Destroy was hyperbole, to be sure. Parris is incredible in his offense and Gable is world class. He just missed the Olympic squad as a 20 year old by one spot.
