Can the best boys high school basketball team in the nation beat the best WNBA team?

A better match up would be the best boys elementary school basketball team in Wisconsin vs. the best WNBA team

Just remember that Serena Williams got dominated by a 70 year old, retired mens tennis player, who was ranked 800th place in the world when he still played in 1936.

Yes, it wouldn't be close.

Watch Lebron's high school highlights, those high school teams are legit

I keep reading or hearing about this, but is there a vid of any of these occurrences?

Not only the WNBA. The best american highschoolers could probably fuck up mens national teams from other countries.
No kidding; "best boys high school basketball team" means there's at least 1-2 guys on the team that are one mailed-in season in college away from playing in the NBA, if not more.

In track and field, U18 men's world records are way ahead of senior women's world records:

100m: 10.09 vs 10.49
High Jump: 2.33 vs 2.09

Also, let's not forget; KD, AD and Zion won national player of the year awards as college freshmen.

I'm tempted to say the top five boys teams (or more) from most U.S. states would win. The WNBA team may have better organization and shooting, but the athletic disparity might be too much to overcome.

2.33 is the u18 record? That wins a lot of major meets. 2.33 was the winning height at the London Olympics.

It would pretty obviously be a complete slaughter by the high schoolers.

Yes & not only beat them, the game will be a complete blow up
This. They've already done this with soccer, and not the McDonald's All-American team or anything like that. We're talking about sectional all-star teams from SoCal. They've blown out the US Women's Soccer team in the middle of their best years 5-0 before. This has been done twice.

It would be even worse in basketball because athleticism plays an even greater role in success at the sport. The McDonald's team would beat the US Women's basketball team by 40+ points in an NBA format game.

And the WNBA players complain about equal pay. Do they really expect to make the same as a bench player in the NBA? Ridiculous!!!
