He has probably checked out at this point.

Agreed. He easily won the Lawler fight and should have worn the UFC belt. Probably not for long with Thompson and Woodley lurking around, but that would have been a great career moment for a great WW fighter. More money, greater appreciation and enhanced legacy. He is an older high mileage fighter who is burnt out mentally after being screwed hard at the office. He should transition into other endeavors and hang the gloves up.

I think he is, no need to explain.

He’s done nothing “legendary” (however his WEC stint was amazing, that still does not make him a legend imo). Great fighter in his hayday but no where near a legend
