Don't know the backstory about why Covington was passed over. Have tried to pay attention to this issue a bit and there doesn't seem to be anything concrete about exactly why in news feeds. Available "news" seems to dance around the subject and not really offer any facts surrounding the decision. Theories certainly abound. Either way, maybe the UFC is as sick of his FAILED trash talk as much as the rest of us?
