Agreed. While I wouldn't be surprised if Alex was gay, there's really no way of knowing one way or the other.

We know so little about any of these people and most of it has been distorted or straight up created throughout history. People act like 2000+ years is yesterday and we can't even figure out basic facts of people alive right now.

People start fanboying heavily when it comes to their historical heroes. Watching historians on shows talking about them is the absolute best.
