Cyborg probably would have lost to Prime Ronda

Cyborg beats Ronda much worse than Nunes did. Th reasons for this is that Nunes is a sharp counter striker, a kind of Conor McGregor or Andy, where as Cyborg is a vicious mauler, a kind of Jeremy Stephens or Wandy. Its better to get quickly pieced up versus slowly brutalized. Cyborg would have really taken her time and relished it too, seeing as how badly Ronda had treated her and all the ways which UFC/Dana/Ronda did to f Cris' life up. It would have been a real horror show.

Does anyone remember what prime Ronda did to anyone she clenched, especially early in the fight? It was clench, throw, armbar, over. Ronda's greatest strength is Cyborg's greatest weakness. If they had fought people would be saying "Do you remember when Ronda ripped that one dudes are off?

I say yes. Cyborg is not as fast or accurate or powerful than nunes. No one hit KO and cyborg has never impressed me in the clinch. Ronda is a bit better than Shayna bazler

Honestly it's a 50/50 fight. If Ronda gets the clinch there's a very good chance she gets a trip/throw and snares the arm.

She would have beat Ronda but lost to Miesha. Ronda did her own thing, Miesha is a student of the game. The night she beat Holly she would have beaten any woman alive. Once she won the title she was content to end her career, that much was clear.

Borg would have dropped L's to both Prime Tate and Ronda. Tate would need to have fight Iq that night though. It really is a shame Cyborg ducked 135 instead of giving is fans the opportunity to see her in the mix.

Borg has never faced a wrestler like Miesha even now.

What part of that did it seem like I was crying? I will say the double standards is ridiculous tho, as they claimed to not want to let her fight in the UFC because she did roids a decade ago, but then they move an event for Jones when he pisses hot. And with Cyborg, they bought her contract and would not let her go elsewhere, made her fight on Invitcta. Fine if you want out rage over cheaters and roiders, but make sure that rage is spread equally and fair, crucify T-City too.

Ronda fought twice that year before Holly for a cool minute combined without taking any damage.

It was the third fight that year for Holly too after going 6 rounds with Pennington&Reneau. Ronda was the third fight in a year for Amanda too, after Miesha&Schevchenko.

Sure media obligations at that level take a toll, playing in movies takes a toll, being coached by Edmund takes a toll etc. but that's how she chose to manage her career and part of who she was as a fighter.

Yeah Dana wanted to make that fight Cyborg offered to fight at 140 Ronda refused 100%. Ronda wouldn't take catch weight fight with Cyborg yet would take catch weight fight against Gina Carano. Reason Cyborg went to Invicta because there is no 145 division in UFC Dana refused to make one at the time saying Cyborg has to make 135 everyone knows she can't make it. Cyborg had to killed her self to make 140 few times to fight at the UFC just to prove to Dana that she was a big enough draw to open up a 145 division.
