De Plessis vs Khamzat next, Izzy vs Strickland 2 for #1 contender

He was promised one with a win over usman.

That's not the same as earning a title shot. The UFC has really blurred what it means to be a sport based on merit.

Izzy not coming back and not fighting for the the title. That's just UFC fact.

I think Strickland vs cannonier 2, makes alot of sense now.

Ddp vs Khazmat isn't a bad fight.

Which is why giving Khamzat the shot doesn't really hurt anything. UFC only uses rankings when they want to, and ingore them when they don't. These people make me laugh, acting like UFC is based 100% on rankings.

Speaking of merit, Khamzat should get the shot based on his performances inside the octagon. He's a killer and his fights are always kill or be killed.

"Give Khamzat his titleshot" lol, as if Khamzat is on a crazy streak at MW and clearly deserves it

Adesanya doesn't deserve it either but given his solid reign at MW it would already be better than Khamzat

Best option is neither. Khamzat vs Izzy for the next shot.

Give Khamzat his title shot. De Plessis vs Khamzat next. Izzy vs Strickland 2 to determine who fights for the title after that.

His title shot for what? Lol...he hasn't done anything yet lol..

7-0 in UFC. His fights are always exciting. Just give it to him already.

Lmfao... 7-0 against who this is sports ...nothing is given its earned half his wins are guys not in the UFC anymore or are on the verge of being cut

I know, right? Why would people possibly complain when things keep getting worse?

If they gonna gib a ts to khamzat might as well gibit to ez, both undeserving asf

What do you mean by getting worse? They're the same as they've always been.

No, things have not always been this bad. They're getting much worse at even pretending the rankings matter.

Khamzat's gonna be out of his prime by the time UFC finally gives him his shot.
<bball1>

Being 3rd at WW once doesn't warrant a title fight at MW. Khamzat deserves nothing Sherbro. Let him fight Cannonier for example, then we will see. The promise of the UFC is actually correct, after Usman, he will have a titleshot, when? No one knows but factually and judging that time is linear, Chimaev will eventually fight for the title. If he fights before against someone else? Who knows but it is definitely after Usman.
