the role that money plays is on a continuum imo. all follow special interests; some of those are wealthy, and some are not. some are led from the top and elite down, and others are led more by the masses.

dont think so? well the wr was full of people saying that "the establishment" had chosen rick perry for president. but.....then he said something so stupid, that the people decided thats not happening. what was the popular democratic pres candidate in '08 who made an odd yell during a campaign speech? that alone, got him booted from the running.

He was the chosen one to face Bush, and then somehow horse face became the Democratic nominee.
