Do you take meds everyday?

Nope, just the usual vitamins/fish oil/glucosamine and some booze on Friday/Saturday nights.

My blood pressure was rising so I just started doing cardio again and it went back to healthy numbers.

I take acid reflux pill and anti nausea pill every day
Vitamin D, and I vape cannabis flower daily

They want to put me on SSRI for anxiety and depression but I been fighting it

I get cancer treatments at least once a month to keep me alive for about 11 years now.
I’m early in my 40’s
I might DM you TS about the meds you take and how’s it’s working
I’m interested in peoples experiences

I take a multivitamin, an aspirin, a probiotic and a stinging nettle pill daily.

The aspirin is because I have 2 artificial knee joints and an occluder in my heart to plug an atrial septal defect.

The probiotic is to keep my digestive system functioning properly.

The stinging nettle pill is in place of Tamsulosin for an enlarged prostate.

No.
I sometimes forget.
Hey, stranger! Hope you're doing well, bud.

Yeah I take Tamoxifen for the breast cancer stuff and Vitamin D and Calcium for bones being the aforementioned can give you brittle bones.

May I ask about the acid reflux? Is it prescribed? I have it something fierce...used to adore spicy food but can barely touch it now.

During grass allergy season, I do. Otherwise, just regular vitamin and protein supplements.

Yeah it’s prescribed, it’s called rabeprazole

I take one every pill day and it helps a lot
I wake up every morning with crazy acid building up
I pretty much have to sleep with my head propped up
And I had to cut out a lot of foods and drink, like coffee and alcohol
Eating lots of carrots tends to help for some reason too lol

I read you are not really supposed to be on this pill forever, but I’ve been about 5 years now daily.
I haven’t seen a specialist yet or had a scope or anything
Just my regular doctor prescribed

I take anti anxiety and antidepressant pills everyday.

Been doing that for years now and it has worked wonders I believe.

Same. I have sleep issues because of anxiety..been on meds for a couple years now and should be coming off them soon. It seems to be more and more commen for people these days.

I diet and exercise routinely for a good portion of my life now so I resisted the med path at 1st, but things escalated too far for me to not give it a go. Has definitely helped. That said, I always try to avoid being medicated if possible -even for pain. But, it works so I’ll roll with it.

Might not be the right path for everyone, but it’s helped me so I’d advise anyone who’s on the fence to at least leave it as an option.

Yup, twice a day, same drug, 2 different doses. Fucking hate it, but without a pain implant I'll probably have to for the rest of my life.

Now that you say it I should tapper of my crazy meds. I forgot about that. Used to do 5mg tappered off to 2.5 mg, the smallest dose. I forgot my goal was to get to 0. Thanks for the reminder. I don't need no cholesterloe or whatever pills even though I weight 115 kg (255 pounds?). Eat real food and excercise occasionaly. If I had a american diet I might have blood pressure or whatever. Also never had a surgery. Besides my stupid teeth. I managed to melt some trough my sweet tooth. You're welcome for letting you about my priavte shit sherdog. Who cares 😉

I used to take pills, back in a portion of my life, and realized their feeling of alleviation of stress was counterfeit... fake.

I still had the same problems, regardless of pills.
And in most cases, the side-effects were not worth it.

And that's just the prescriptions. The over-the-counter combination of Tylenol PM to fall asleep & Caffeine pills to stay awake resulted in the most massive mood swings I've ever had.

So, 10 years later and I just turned 40, I strictly exercise and eat a regulated diet, and the results are far superior than any pill I've ever consumed.

I take Viagra to keep Alzheimer's away. Or so I'm told...

Yup.
Lithium for a (very mild) BPD and an antidepressant I'm cycling out - about to stop for the first time in over 10 years.
Taken meds for my entire adult life, I kind of feel like a fraud treating people out of doing the exact same thing but it's more common than you'd think.

Let's see: 2 different BP medications, serious anti-inflammatory, prilosec to counter stomach issues with said medicine, vitamins especially vitamin D with K, gabapentin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Test, nicotine pouches, alcohol, occasional benzo, occasional MJ, very occasional arylcyclohexylamines, very very occasional others, benadryl sometimes, other allergy medications sometimes, occasional caffeine, amphetamine, opioids. Probably forgetting an everyday something. Too much, but sometimes not enough.

I don't take anything at all, and never have, but I'm thinking about getting on all sorts of stuff soon.

I want to get on fish oil, and all the different vitamin ones. Maybe some anxiety ones, anti depressants, viagra, etc. I don't need these or anything, but I'm interested to see what the difference is. Going to get on sleeping tablets every night as well and see how that goes.

Yep. Gotta keep the ticker in rhythm.
