Cliff Burton, the late great bassist for Metallica, died in a bus crash while on tour 10/27/96 age 24.

Bass guitar is my main instrument and Cliff is my #1 inspiration (Steve Harris of Iron Maiden is my original inspiration).

I have been honored to have been compared to those two amazing players by folks who have seen me play gigs, it's the highest honor.

It's said that Cliff was one of the most down to earth people you could ever meet, and no matter how big Metallica got, he was the same person. I consider him a role model as a person and a musician and that's why I rock this AV.
