One thing fedor fan love to say is that fedor is out of prime when he fought werdum because athlete decline around 10 years.even though there’s no scientific proof to back up that claim And is really hypocrite to say that here’s why:

Cro Cop: first kickboxing fight is in 1996.the fedor fight is in 2005.
Coleman: Coleman first fight is in 1996,the fedor fight is in 2004.and he was 40 years old when he fought fedor
Arlovski: first fight is in 1999,the fedor fight is in 2009
Randleman: first fight:1996, the fedor fight: 2004.and clearly past his prime will when he fought fedor

Conclusion: fedor beat past prime fighters if we use his fan logic

You only list 4 of his opponents and only 1 of them was 10 years in... Seriously..?

Nogueira was beating everyone on undefeated streaks. Fedor ended up with the dregs because of that.
Cro Cop and Arvloski were great wins at the time though and you're a moron if you say otherwise.

Because fedor only got 5 top wins.
And fedor fans said athlete decline “ around 10 years”.

Fedor became religious, stopped training as much and was not used to fight in a cage.

I have to ask why do you keep posting on a subject you seem to have so little grasp of?

Perhaps we actually judge a fighters prime by his performances not by some grossly simplified metric of time? even by that matric though your out in most of these examples aren't you?

So fedor only beat 1 good fighters that’s not out of his prime?

All people, yes that includes fighters, age differently.

And let's say Fedor wasn't past his prime when he lost. That means, after going undefeated for 10 years(longest noteworthy streak in MMA history), being the #1 HW in the world for over 7 years(longest reign a top any division in MMA history), being a universally recognized top 3 P4P fighter for 2660 days(longest in MMA history), compiling more quality wins than any fighter not named Silva or GSP, more top 10 wins than any HW other than Nogueira, the most top 5 wins in HW history, the most wins over #1 & #2 HWs in history, and winning 7 #1 HW championship fights(most in HW history).

He lost to 2 top 10 HWs(one that is a UFC champion and universally recognized as a top 5 all-time HW and another that was a UFC championship challenger and that holds wins over top HWs Overeem, Arlovski, Browne, and a draw against Hunt) and a top 10 LHW(who just so happens to be universally recognized as one of the 10 greatest mixed martial artists of all-time). Those are his 3 legitimate "prime" loses. Yeah, you're right. He sucks.

So using your logic when good fighter look bad against a better fighter = out of prime
And this thread is about how broken fedor fan “logic” is

At the time he fought them:

Big Nog 1: PRIDE HW Champion with a 19-1-1 record.
Big Nog 2: record of 24-2-1 (1 loss to Fedor)
Mark Hunt: record of 5-2, former K1 Champ, and beat Cro Cop + Wanderlei in MMA
Cro Cop: record of 16-2-2 and won the PRIDE title after losing to Fedor
Randleman: record of 15-7, just KO'd Cro Cop, former UFC Champion

seriously, your posts and English are shit.

ban.

No my "logic" would involve an honest analsysis of a fighters performance which you would be utterly incapable of considering you exist on this forum only to parrot the hype the UFC have sold you.

I think you are over-simplifying things.

There's no single reason (i.e. years alone).
10 years is not a set rule.
Someone who fights for 10 years but take little dmg could endure that for a lot more than someone who have wars after wars.
Besides, there are a lot more "contributing factors" here:
  • Fedor was starting to get out of his prime.
  • Fedor was also not used to fight inside an octagon
  • Fedor was also not used to fight under unified rules of MMA.
  • add that to the fact MMA was evolving, fighters were catching up to him
And you got the perfect storm.

The same way that SIlva got out of his prime because he clowned (and got caught), and then on his comeback fight he broke his legs.
The same way that Junior got out of his prime when he took those beatings from Cain.
The same way that Barao's issues with Weight Cut added to the way he lost to TJ happened.
The same way that Aldo and all the circus on the world media tour added to the way he lost to Conor happened.

it is not one thing only, but many factors added to the mindset of someone who was not used to lose can indeed "take them out of their prime".
Because there's more to those dominant guys than just being good. They had the confidence that they would win because they always did.
So when a bad loss happens, it breaks their confidence that many times helped them win fights.

We get several of these threads a week, TS, this was just pathetic. Smarter men than you have at least made credible arguments for other GOAT candidates and such, this thread is weak af.
