Fighters you'd want on every card

Starting to respect where casuals are coming from.
If it's not an important fight, it seems like a waste of time to watch.

I watch undercards tbh, lots of great fights on the under.

As to some mentioned, like , I love the guy and don't want to see him fight again, too risky.
AS, if he got over being a fucking clown.

I agree, there are good fights on undercards.
They just don't seem to matter to me.
I used to watch all fights, now a lot of it seems boring.
To the people who enjoy it, cool. There are worse things to like such as boxing, NBA and NFL.

Fans build the names, though. You have to pay attention to recognize people.

For example, Dan Hooker's performance against Gilbert Burns at UFC 226 was on early prelims - nobody talked about it, but it's the most impressive performance on that card. Dude trains with Isreal, so the precision makes sense, I guess. And he's 4-0 since returning to lightweight and is set to fight Barboza next. He could very well be the next big thing at LW - a name - but if you don't put ANY effort into following undercard fights, then he'll just stay a nobody until he fights Conor or something.

I'm not judging you for not watching all of the fights, but it works both ways. You have to participate as a fan in recognizing and building up the names at least a little bit.

I used to follow closely.
Now I'm good watching their highlights once they reach top 5.
I can catch up with what they have done on the way up fast.
