Modern MMA isn't even "real fighting." It's just the closest thing we have. As long as there are stand ups and resets it's not real.

Realism gets sacrificed for entertainment purposes.

I agree it's the closest thing we have...but if you dismiss it for not being "real"...then that would imply that all combat sports are of equal merit...hence one could make the argument that, in regards to fighting, arm wrestling and boxing are on par with one another.

Floyd has very little courage. He walked away from how many mega paydays when Manny was destroying everyone he fought? He will tell you it was about money, but it was really about protecting his precious 0.. Conor has far more guts than Floyd ever will..

At least Conor can still pretend he made 100m, his dumb fans will still buy it.

Floyd used him and abused him, Conor got quite a lot of money for it, but he's a mess.

That's true...boxing paid Conor 100 million so that people could continue with the delusion that boxing equals fighting.

Its clear you don't watch Boxing and just listen to the bullshit Bob Arum spread that idiots ate up. Floyd agreed to all Manny's terms (look it up. Manny had some crazy terms too) and MANNY turned the fight down because he didn't want to do the drug testing Floyd wanted. Hell Floyd even agreed to go lighter on the blood testing and Manny STILL said no. Only a moron or someone who is cmpletely uninformed would think it was Floyds fault. I don't think Manny is a coward, but i think he is an idiot who will just do whatever his team says.. Its clear Bob Arum and Freddie Roach had no confidence that Manny would beat Floyd (and anyone who knows Boxing knows Manny was never beating Floyd) so they delayed the fight to keep Manny's value high. If Manny lost to Floyd back in the day his value would drop and they would lose out on several big pay days. They only agreed to the fight (after Floyd basically chased Manny down and talked to him one on one) because Manny's value was only going down hill. They cashed out when they had made s much money as possible out of Manny

Floyd has fought in 5 different weight classes and was MASSIVELY undersized in the last 12 fights or so. He fought 7 top 10 P4P Boxers FOUR of whom were top 4 P4P. He finished his career cutting no weight in the two most stacked divisions in Boxing. Anyone who thinks he is a coward is a complete idiot. Conor killed himself so he could fight smaller men. Conor has only fought ONE top 10 P4P MMA fighter. Neither are cowards, but obviously Floyd has more balls. When Conor starts fighting guys 15-25LBs bigger then him, then maybe he can talk

The goal of combat sports is not to see who is the toughest in the streets. Its evolved beyond that childish bullshit. Only insecure MMA fans think thats what combat sports is about. MMA is a SPORT, not some "real" fight.
