On that last part- you know, we are putting in all this work to give people freedom and the right to vote, but we go to these planets and find nothing but bugs and robots. Where are the actual people we want to exercise their right to vote? Who are we liberating exactly?

i wouldn't dare question a fellow Vet who fought so Valiant at the creek. I question those who clearly lean towards socialism

It's arguably worst on the machine front i think.

Started playing on suicidal and the difficulty is as advertised...

That new plasma shotgun seems pretty good.

I haven't unlocked it yet but picked it up from a dead team mate and used it a good portion of a mission.

Apparently, Starship Troopers star Casper van Dien is now playing Helldivers 2 IRL. I thought this awesome and would love a skin or for him to voiceover a char in collab' with Arrowhead.

You know who would have loved this game too? RL gamer Lance Reddick. 100 up his alley. Rest in peace, Commander.

the only thing thats hard is Fighting the machines on those defense/kill an hold missions.


They drop a damn armoured brigade on you an a tone of walkers.

Generally a mix of Grizzled Veteran with a heart while occasionally straying on my own when we're doing well/great and every once in a while Shellshocked Helltaster when all hell breaks loose. But I am usually the victim of the Shellshocked. When you try to help you end up paying for it. Especially if they do not know what they are doing...

I do love the accidental physics in the game. When you are about to throw a grenade or fire an explosive shot and some shit explodes next to you forcing you to the ground or shifting your balance/shot. Either you lose the grenade and blow yourself up and everyone around you or the shot hits someone close by and damages/kills everyone around them. Some fucked up and fun shit happen all the time.
