I think they've made it pretty clear that they see higher inflation and higher crime as being in their political interests. The specific ideas they've talked about generally are inflationary (more tax cuts for rich people and corporations, reversing the IRA, reducing clean-energy R&D spending). If they could slash Social Security, that would have the effect of a long-run inflation reduction, though I'm not sure throwing old people into poverty is the best way to reduce overall spending in the economy.

This JUST IN, the laptop IS REAL!!!!! With pure, unadulterated journalistic integrity, two years after the story broke and they helped push that it was fake, they decided to go to the computer repair person, as well as hired their own computer expert to verify everything. Now it is all confirmed, how can this be????? Why wouldnt they have done this 2 years ago? No matter, it is now all true!

However, CBS still says no evidence Joe Biden is "the big guy" and received any benefit from the business deals... despite evidence... on the laptop... that they just confirmed is 100% real.... lol.
