Serious question for fellow Marvel nerds.

Cap went back in time to return the stones at the exact moment they were taken, but that leaves some unanswered questions. Some of the stones would have been easy to return, but not all.

Time stone (green)
Easy, just hand it back to the Ancient One

Power stone (purple).
This is the one that Quill stole from the temple on Morag in GOTG 1. Easy enough to get back in the temple, but the stone was protected by some force field that melted Nebula’s hand in Endgame, so a bit tricky to put it back.

The Space stone (blue)
Tony and Cap retrieved this one from 1970, but it was in the tesseract. When he went back in time he only had the stone, not the tesseract.

The Reality stone (red)
Rocket pulls it out of Jane Foster on Asgard. How does Cap put it back in?…:D

The Mind stone (yellow)
This one was contained in Loki’s sceptre. Easy enough to give the stone back but he didn’t bring the sceptre with him when he went back.

The Soul stone (orange)
That one was traded for Black Widow’s life. Did he simply give it to the stone keeper?
Also, the reunion of Cap and Red Skull must have been an interesting moment.

Captain America just pawned them off in a shop in the 50s for some cigarettes and spent the time banging Peggy Carter, and said to everyone

In Infinity War, Thanos got the Reality Stone (red) from The Collector, so that means it was already out of Jane. And they took the Stone out of Jane anyways at the end of Thor 2...so Cap probably just put the stone by her bedside and people thought "oh, its already out. Now lets go bring it to the Collector"

Also, it doesn't matter what order he returns them in...but what makes sense to me at the moment is doing the Reality Stone last...because can't he make it a reality to put the Soul Stone back into its sacrifice stage? Which would also be a moot point because Thanos is technically no longer in that time as he time jumped to face the Avengers in the final battle in Endgame...so that created an alternate timeline

Can also put the tesseract around the Space Stone with the Reality Stone.
Can create Loki's sceptre with the Reality Stone.
Can recreate the protective force field for the Power Stone with the Reality Stone

And then return the Reality Stone last before banging Peggy for the rest of his life

That is one overpowered stone when you think of it.

Damn, brah. You figured it all out.

Kudos.

He could've just used all the stones together to give him God-like powers, then he wished for a bigger penis, and for Peggy to always love him and never get fat. Then his final wish was for the stones to go back to the appropriate time and place.

Edit.... Oh yeah, he probably also wished for his arm to heal from using the stones.

Maybe they'll make a cartoon of it.

What happened to Loki and the stone he took off with
